What if Mason Graham falls?

But I'm team improve trenches

Carter and Milton Williams played alot together in Philly. Solomon Thomas will have to have a seat
1st, I would 100% draft Graham at 12. Just posing the question of would Jerry and Co pull the trigger after paying Osa for discussion.

2nd, Osa and Carter aren’t comparable. Carter is 6’3 315 with the very fitting nickname of “Baby Rhino”. He could play NT in a 3-4 if he wanted to. Osa is an undersized, gap shooting, 3 tech only.

I personally don’t think it’s out of the question that Graham falls to 12. Teams tend to fall in love with elite athletes in the top 11, and as good as Graham, is he doesn’t fit that category.

IF he does, should the Cowboys take him? And would they?

Graham and Osa really aren’t a fit to play next to each other more than 40% (or so) of the game. So with the commitment to Osa, would you still go 3 tech at 12?
Hell and yes.

True but I'm mostly talking on passing downs. On passing downs osa and Graham would be ideal.

The closer we get the more confident I am that 1 of Graham, Tet or Jeanty will be available.

I’m sure they can get intel on his playing weight at UM - maybe he was just trying to be lighter for testing at the combine.

Regardless he’s still the best DT in the class so zero issues of taking him and figuring out how to make it work. I think he gives you flexibility to play some 1T and 3T.

I would not hesitate.

If Graham was there at #12, I'd sprint to the podium and I wouldn't even entertain a trade down.

Graham is one of the five best football players in this class regardless of position, and he happens to play a position we really need. You couldn't give me enough picks in this class to pass up on him.

Well said

Let's just find really good players that love what they do and compete. Regardless of need, take good players.

Are we sure we love Guyton at LT still or has the team so soured on him they just might draft his replacement?

If he falls they need to get handed in so fast they would get whiplash. IMO Hunter and Carter would the only players I would take over him.

I would jump for joy but after listening to the draft show it won’t matter.
The chances are very slim he will fall. I kind of worry about the idea of Mykel Williams or Johnson at CB might be the picks they are targeting. I would rather have Mike Green if he fell or Barron over Johnson.

The Cowboys are traditionally a traits team. Williams and Johnson have the traits.
