What if Mason Graham falls?

He left the combines with a couple of question marks ......... interesting to see if they are answered his Pro Day.

I personally don’t think it’s out of the question that Graham falls to 12. Teams tend to fall in love with elite athletes in the top 11, and as good as Graham, is he doesn’t fit that category.

IF he does, should the Cowboys take him? And would they?

Graham and Osa really aren’t a fit to play next to each other more than 40% (or so) of the game. So with the commitment to Osa, would you still go 3 tech at 12?
then you take him and don't look back. fix the dang DT position

he is a top five talent on pretty much every reputable draft site

getting a top five talent at #12 is something you do not pass up on

UNLESS you get a real good trade offer

those trying to find nits with him make me laugh. He is the best DL lineman in the draft.

They absolutely should take him if he's available at 12. TBH, I thought your post was going to be about trading up 2-3 spots to go get him if he got closer to us.
Osa is a very good DT, but he wouldn't stop me from drafting Graham.
But, unfortunately I think it will stop them from drafting him. And I don't disagree that having Osa at 3T means the spot we really need to upgrade is the 1T. So can we somehow land Grant instead?

This is not as obvious a decision as one might think. There are a bunch of good DTs in this draft. I don't think the Cowboys are going DT in the first round. I would be more curious about what they would do if they took WR in the first and Grant fell to them in the 2nd.

I also think a guy like Darius Alexander might be a nice fit for Dallas in the 2nd or Norman-Lott in the 3rd. There will be options at DT throughout this draft. I am concerned Dallas is not going to take any of them.
