He sure got noticed last game.

I don't think he fits the 1tech. But he could be a good backup to Melton at 3tech, at best.

He'll get some snaps against the 1s and 2s tonight, he needs to show he can hold up against the run if he wants to get the chance to rush the passer

Someone better step up. We need depth behind Melton because there's no guarantee he'll still be a Pro Bowl caliber player and/or stay healthy.

He could play as the 2nd DT in passing situations. They often both play similar to a 3-tech in the Nickel when there is a minimal threat of the run.

Which is why I think the coaches like Hayden. In the 39% of plays in the base defense, he's the most consistent run stuffer.

Stuffer? No, he just basically stands up and attracts blockers like a magnet. He is Brandon Noble reincarnated.

Whatever happened to drake Nevis? Seemed like he played hard when given the opportunity last year.

He's going to have to make some noise against better competition to make it.

Melton 3
T McClain 3/1
Okoye 3/1
Coleman 3
Bishop 1
Hayden 1
Brent? 1

I really hope he makes the roster...i like what he showed last week..he should make it, he can't hurt the team...on another note he did show the ability to stop the run in the backfield as well...

If he fits he's going to piss off the "dumpster diver" crowd.

Personally I wouldn't be mad if Minter earned a roster spot on the 53 here.

At the same time though it has to make you wonder why the Cowboys can't find these guys in the offseason.
