Witten, because we have someone that can take his spot. Bennett
If T.O. was younger, no one would vote against him.

We have seen how this team is without both guys, so you can say what you want , without Owens this team struggles and goes no where.

Saw that last season, didn't we?

and we seem to be seeing it this year too.... :bang2:

I like to go against the grain so I chose Witten. TO on the field gives us the best chance to win a Lombardi in the next couple of years. Bennett can always fill in. He's no Witten but he will do just fine at TE.

Hahah, same here, in my mind the question became Choose which player you would keep, so I voted Witten.

we're cutting TO??

We can dream. But then again if we don't make the playoffs and he feels it's
because he didn't get the ball................

Yep because Owens has helped so many other teams win a SB.

Longevity: Obviously Witten.

Reliablity: Both make big plays, but Witten's hands are alot more reliable.

Game Breaker: Owens is a deep threat and more of a threat in the endzone.

Team Player: Owens can be a cancer when things go wrong and take shots at his QB and OC while Witten takes the blame when he knows its not on him. Something Owens can learn from.

Consistency: Witten has been great, especially last year, but he's only been putting up elite receiving numbers for a few years while Owens has been at it for over a decade.

Health: Witten has missed one game(his rookie season) in 6 seasons while Owens has missed 12 games in 13 games. Advantage Witten.

Toughness: Owens is a man beast, but he doesnt always play like it. He has troubles getting off press against smaller corners and shows fear going over the middle that Witten doesnt. 100% Witten.

Outside of Gonzalez, no one can threaten Witten as the best TE in football while Owens' position as a top 5 receiver right now is debatable. Im not saying it's easier to just find another receiver the caliber of Owens, but it's alot tougher to find another Witten.

All in all, Witten's my guy.

Witten is the most complete TE in the NFL.

And he's only 26.

Not sure if we're factoring age into this question...but I think you would keep Witten regardless.

When TO was 26 he was just becoming a good player. Witten is already there.

Not to mention Witten is and has always has been a glue-guy and tremendous locker room leader that affects team chemistry in nothing but a positive manner. TO, not so much. The difference between the two in this area alone is too enormous to be charted.

I can't believe some people still can't grasp how important this aspect of the game is.
