- I'm seeing Washington having significant cap space, and that team in one year, is one of the promising upcoming teams in NFL

- They play the 4 man front that is ideal for Myles and i assume they have their early round picks.

- Worse we know how the Eagles front office can operate with acquiring players- whether FA or trade. i can never count them out of big trades.

WASH should be a desirable spot for Myles.

People have to remember we’d be giving up 5-6 premium players to get Garrett.
Hes gonna need a contract that’s 35+m$, which is what Baun+Becton+Burks would probably get, or Milton + Goedert extension + Isaiah Rodgers. Then we’d need to trade 2 first, or a 1 and a 2 and a 3, or something in between. Just go through the past drafts; that’s a Dickerson and a Dean and a Devonta. Or a Carter and a Jurgens and a Jalyx. Or a Hurts and a Nolan and a Milton.
So plausibly for Myles Garrett we’d have to sacrifice Zach Baun, Mekhi Becton, Oren Burks, a future Quinyon Mitchell, a future Cooper Dejean, a future Tyler Steen. It’s hard to argue we would be a better team. All this for a Guy who turns 30 next season. Do we get 4 years of elite play out of him? Less? Is he cut for salary cap reasons before the rookie contracts of the guys we would have drafted are up?

Because of this I think a contending team that has huge cap space is the most logical destination. Washington, Green Bay, Minnesota, LAC, weirdly Detroit

if he wants a legit shot at winning a Super Bowl, WAS, BAL, KC, PHI, BUF DET, are all decent options.

I wonder if other older good players close to the end of their contracts could take a cut in pay to have a shot at winning a SB (Maxx Crosby, Watt, Metcalf, Pitts, etc)

Washington has a gazillion dollars. I played around on over the cap and got Philly to 52 million without even really trying. I haven’t looked at Detroit yet, but I would bet that it’s of those three teams.

Cleveland is going to want serious picks. Its not all about Cap money.

DET seem like the smartest option

Speaking purely about what I like about football:

Can you imagine Garrett opposite Hutchinson? Good grief that'd be scary.
