So two weeks from this evening we all find out how things are going to play out. At least for the Boys, they appear to still be adding players that could help the team. The signing of Charles is one of those if he pans out at RG then the OL is much stronger.

We should still sign a CB and vet WR and possibly a DT. Wouldn't mind Tyler Lockett at WR as a good vet presence and good pass catcher and would be the #2 until we draft one and then that person take over at #2. As each day passes, the cost of the guys left drops so suspect we could get Lockett for around $5 million for one year. For a CB, still seems strange that Asante Samuels Jr. is still available. He is young, proven to be a good corner but with flaws and needs to prove himself again. We have taken on worse cases. Not sure any of the DT left available would fit our new scheme.

BUT, WHAT IF the new coaching staff wants to go in the different direction with some of the current guys. What would anyone think if during the draft, the Chargers make an offer of their #22, #86 and #125 for Mazi Smith, Peyton Hendershot, and Jalen Tolbert. Harbaugh likes his guys in Smith and Hendershot. Loveland and Warren are both probably gone lone before #22 and those 3 players from us fill 3 of those needs with guys he knows and young with workable contracts. To little or to much, that is always a tough call. But say it happens then how does Dallas draft look like then.

12. Trade with Cincinnati for #17. #12 for #17, #81, #119, and 6th in 2026.

17. Jihaad Campbell LB Alabama - can play inside or outside or line up at DE, would solve Mike position for a decade.

22. Walter Nolan DT Ole Miss - although questions about him, he is a great play maker and run stopper, ability to play DT3 and DT1.

44. Jayden Higgins WR Iowa St. - big receiver, very reliable, sort of an Alvin Harper type, great work ethic, has great ability to get open and will work back to QB to help in blitz situations

70. Quinshon Judkins RB Ohio St. - trade of #81 and #119 to Jax for #70

76. Alfred Collins DT Texas - can play all positions on DL, big, strong, fast DL guy, would be great rotation piece in 2025

86. Jonah Savaiinaea OL Arizona - very young guy, big, needs to get stronger, can play RG or RT, probably needs a year to get stronger, great feet in pass blocking and great run blocker to zone run scheme

125. Shavon Revel, Jr. CB ECU - could possibly be a steal of the draft, if not for torn ACL in September could have gone 1st round but being from a smaller university and ACL injury will have him fall to Day 3 despite evaluation and Jerry loves to take at least one injury guy. He could start on PUP list or possibly be ready for training camp but definitely a good pick.

149. Charles Lundt OT UConn - great size and length, lacks strength, a prospect with high ceiling

174. Malachi Moore S Alabama - has great instincts and recognition skills, very good cover man, good tackler

204. Kobe King LB Penn St. - mostly a Mike guy but could rotate with Campbell especially when blitzes are called

211. Dont'e Thornton Jr. WR Tennessee - great size, length, and speed but needs a lot of development although could come in on as 4th WR to just run the fly or post patterns

217. Ollie Gordon III RB Oklahoma - 2024 was a good year for him but much better in 2022 and 2023, has tools to be a top back

239. Cam'Ron Jackson NT Florida - huge man, runs out of gas to quick, needs to develop and gain strength, definitely a run stuffer, a rotation of Nolen, Osa, Collins, and Jackson remakes our DL better for years

247. Jalin Conyers TE Texas Tech - a bit raw but high ceiling guy with great size, soft hands, great route running

A lot of really good players in this mock. Appreciate the work.

Can't see Revel, Jr. or Jonah Savaiinaesliding that far. Both probably don't get past the 2nd round, IMO.

A lot of vets will sign POST draft. They no longer count against compensatory picks.

Very good effort. You should post an updated depth chart.
