Everyone’s negative nancy right now and I get it. What happens if due to injury - anae or dorrance have multiple sacks when Dlaw returns?

Trying to play devils advocate but this will give a young buck his chance to earn a pretty penny in the NFL. Maybe we’ll get the performance Dlaw used to give us before he got paid...

Not the biggest supporter of DFlaw's impact anyway, so I see no reason why this opportunity could not bear fruit in the way you describe it.

Go Anae/Armstrong go!

We can only hope. Make no mistake about it I'll be rooting for them just as hard as I would to starters. It's just a very frustrating start to the season. We lose the services of a promising tackle in Gallimore before the season starts. We ignore the back surgery of our place kicker and leave four points on the field in the opener. We lose the starting defensive end in practice. We lose Michael Gallup in the opener, and our all pro guard and other starting DE. Gets placed on the C-List:facepalm:

Very frustrating but I have not given up hope, Go Cowboys :flagwave:

I am MOST concerned about the loss of the run-stopping as opposed to Tank's pass rush abilities. I think it is pretty obvious that it is the latter that will be missed. Anyone who rushes the passer is a bonus IMO.

Then it would show once again JJ & Co. pay the wrong guys.
In reality he would just give an exorbitant contract to someone based off that small sample size and we’ll be right back to where we were.
