What if the Cowboys traded Dak after his rookie year?

Dak's stock was very high after his rookie year. Former GMs were saying that he should have been the number one overall pick:

You [Skip Bayless] keep saying he [Dak Prescott] is a fourth round pick. I'm saying to you he is no longer a fourth round pick. He is a first round pick, should have been the first overall pick in the draft. He's better than Carson Wentz, I don't deny that...I think his uniqueness in terms of his leadership. He's got Russell Wilson-esque leadership ability to him."

The Browns had the # 1 and # 12 overall picks in the 2017 draft. I suggested that we should have traded Dak for both those picks after his rookie year on another forum and I got bashed for it. Imagine if the Cowboys made that deal. They could have selected Myles Garrett with the 1st pick and maybe moved up a couple spots from the 12 pick to select Mahomes!!!!

I actually had thought at the time in 2016, they should’ve put Romo back in arouns Thanksgiving and then shopped Dak in the off-season. Maybe the Browns would’ve bit and something like this could’ve happened.
