If he sees an opening he needs to take it. That is what made him so effective his rookie year. He kept the defense on it. There are times where if he would run he could get the first down but he passes it and the pass gets broken up.

Too bad. Afraid to get Dak hurt? Keep him on the sidelines. Run the plays that help the team win. Period. Our fearless coaches hold this team back as much as any player. Or maybe you're right. Dak himself might be afraid.
I think it's more on Dak now than the coaches. KM has called more RPOs this season and Dak more often than not opts to pass rather than run.

There are definitely yards to be had by Dak out there, hope he is more decisive and just takes off if the pass is not there. Don't force tha ball to CD in the middle, take the rushing yards!

That would be good, but Dak can’t run!
He can’t run and he can’t throw, but other than that, he is pretty bad.

What are you waiting for ya know? He’s almost 30 this is a wide open post season to take. Design 15 or so things that have options and safety valves and stuff and get creative with the tight ends and power running games that are safe and deadly matchup wise. Ya feel me
We may be undefeated if they ever did that, they would do it one game, next game you'll never see him do it

Here's my opinion. If Dak is going to throw an interception, he should take off and run instead.

Dak rushing attempts and yards per year:

2016: 57 for 282 4.9 ypa
2017: 57 for 357 6.3 ypa
2018: 75 for 305 4.1 ypa
2019: 52 for 277 5.3 ypa
2020: 18 for 93 (injury to ankle year) 5.2 ypa
2021: 48 for 146 3.0 ypa
2022: 45 for 182 4.0 ypa

The stats and eye test show clearly that since the ankle injury Dak suffered in 2020 his ability and desire to run with the football have dropped and plays into his mental game.

Would like to see 8 or so as the floor but our offense is not longer set up that way. Dak will sling it like Marino and we will all hold our breath.

15 maybe too many. but they should be willing to run him and he should be willing to run. just to make sure he keeps the defense on their toes and keeps them honest. like you said, its post season. its do or die so whatever it takes.
