This is basically a contract year for him. He signed an extension through this year with the boys to be traded. Can't get the money for next year sitting on the bench. We signed Price as insurance if Key or Glenn go down. What happens if we lose both??? I say we'll keep Morgan for depth. Bill's dealt with prima donna's before. As long as he doesn't throw his jersey in Bill's face, I say he's here until next year. Whether Quincy likes it or not, Bill's holding all of the Aces!!!!

agreed, parcells is a true head coach who has mythodically built this team to destroy the likes of pretenders such as the eagles, falcons, whoever........

That is stupid. We signed PP because we aren't getting what we need from Q-Morg. He's gone as soon as we find a suiter or Jerrah decides to cut him.

I think Morgan stays. BTW....Price aint here in case Morgan or Key get injured. He will get alota playing time. I think he will be #2 in receptions behind Witten.

That's passed through my mind as well.

The main problem is that we need the #5 WR to be a willing and useful contributor to Special Teams.

Offensively, it'd be sweet to keep him, but it doesn't make sense in the big picture.

The only potential problem with that is that he, to my knowledge, isn't really a special-teams guy. I'm not sure how logistical it is to have your top four receivers do nothing on special teams -- also, all it would do is push Crayton down yet another peg.

Also, if he's already complaining about his role, I can't imagine how he'll be if he has eight catches on the season heading into December.

But, I will say this. He's not a bad fifth receiver, if for some reason we do keep him. It just seems like he's cut the second Price is officially signed.

if he'd learn to catch, he could be a good returner, but if he can't catch a perfect spiral, I'd hate to see him back there with a ball dropping down on him from 25 yards up.

That's a bold prediction, Wolv.
I hope you're right.

But what about Glenn?
If he stays healthy, he will be Bledslow's bosom buddy.

With all this craze for wide receivers, you'd think Parcells is actually going to pass as much as he did last year. This is a running team only. That first drive in Jacksonville is what the entire season is going to look like. Total domination by the offensive line, Julius off left tackle, Julius up the middle, Julius off right tackle, and a wee bit of playaction. ;) Doesn't make sense to keep fellas like Morgan and Price when they aren't contributing on special teams.

That might be going a little far.

I agree we will be a running team first. But a running team "ONLY"? I don't think so.

We will run the ball until they move 8 guys in the box then we will unleash all of these receivers on them and kill them deep. We will do just like we did on the TD pass to Glenn the other night. We will let Keyshawn wear down the CB with his size and strength and then throw Price at them with his speed to take them deep. When they start playing two deep to stop the deep stuff from Glenn and Price we will kill them underneath and in the flats with Witten and the guys out of the back field. And when they start throwing blitzes at Bledsoe to stop the passing game we will give them more of Julius running right past their blitzers. We now have so many weapons that we can adapt to anything they do and I'm loving it.

BTW whether Morgan stays or goes he will be the number 5 at best. Crayton has already beat him out and Price is being brought in to backup Keyshawn and play not sit behind Morgan.

Good morning, Jack!

Now that was something to wake up to. :)
