I'm tired of Bledsoe skipping balls to keyshawn. Anyone else tired of side arm sally doing that? I'm not that worried he is a damn good QB. But quit rock skippin!

Me too. If he could have just completed all those passes, he'd have a 70% completion percentage and lead the NFL, and have a career high by a margin of 9 points.

I'm more tired of the Oline letting jail breaks.

Bledsoe is completing a very high % of his passes. What a whiner.

What we ar sick of is pple bashing Bledsoe for doing his job, certainly when you guys have no better options. I understand you dont like Bledsoe Hostile et al. But you know what. We are gunna ride that horse till this race is finished. then we might just enter another race with this same horse named Bledsoe.

I also bet Bledsoes tired of having receivers drop his passes too, Maybe if the receivers would hold on to his balls (get your mind out of the gutter) he would seem more acurate? Maybe if they would hold on to the ball he would appeal to you more?

The thing I'm really tired of seeing, is the little screen passes that are off target. I mean every time he gets Jones out in the flat he throws him a little hitch pass, but it's usually where Jones has to jump high to field it and then the outside LB gets a shot at him and takes him down for no gain or a loss on the play... Heck, just jumping to try to catch the pass is hazardous and takes at least a second off of the play. Wasting that second this year has been the difference between second and three or second and eleven. If were gonna be a screen pass team, then get some linemen who can block for it and work on the throws. SHEESH!

FWIW-Bledsoe was surprisingly throwing decent screens earlier in the season. The 1st Philly game was his best at that.

Madden has made a good pt in recent years-teams now are doing a much better job at defending the screen pass. I've noticed lots of teams in recent years haven't run this play well.

As bad as Jones sucks in the running game, what makes you think he's getting where he is supposed to be in the passing schemes? I think Jones is the problem myself. Fix the running game and the passing attack would improve dramatically.

we really don't have the O linemen to block for the screen... you need athletic linemen who can engage quickly and shed the defender to run downfield. I just don't think they've executed it well... Green Bay has, IMO always been one of the best screen pass teams when I watch them. Hence the Rivera signing... Things should improve when he gets his strength back next year and we do a little more personnel tweaking for the 06-07 season.

Lose a couple games and the tone around here sure changes.

It's not only that, they have not played well on Offense for at least the last 4 games.... Downward trends like this are hard to turn around.

And Rivera having to adjust to a new scheme is been pretty difficult too. Wahle hasn't been doing much better in Carolina either, and he's been healthy.

FWIW-in Simeon Rice's first year in Tampa, he struggled having to adjust to a new scheme. Yeah-these players are payed millions to do a job, but these DC schemes are complex nonetheless.

Get youself a better O-line... yes SOME of the blame can be left a JJo's feet, but remember when the fans were calling for Troy to retire, as well as Emmitt? I remember it VERY well... Our GM back then... didn't do those guys any service by leaving the O-line intact with big gaps in talent and ability... Dallas went from 1995 to practically the present without a decent center... Left tackle has been a tad inconsistent since 1998, but theoretically it's solid... We never really had a dominator at RT since Erik W... Soloman Page was pretty much average, and we've been looking at RG for years now as well. LG with Larry Allen has been OK to date, but really we've been spoiled with having a guy like LA with the past expectations and pro-bowls... that position alone has been the rock on the line... We've got a lot of money tied up in the OL but it sure could use help by just observing the present state... Football starts at the line of scrimmage... if you can't block, then you're just not going to play very well.

Some of it is who you play and where you play them. The OL did an adequate job today, not great, but that's a big, big difference from the situation last week. Give the QB a fighting chance and he can make plays. But look over that game carefully and you see both tackles getting beat a bunch of times, and this was a good game for them. It will be that much harder on the road.
