Please put away the anointing oil

I don't like Jaylon but I am not ready to proclaim that our LB is outstanding if you exclude him. But assuming this group ends up playing well then you bench Jaylon and then cut him when the salary cap hit is not as bad. Nothing else we can do at this point.
Jaylon is very close to being unplayable. At this point he looks like he runs around 4.9.

I'm a bona-fide Jerry critic.

But this was worth a shot.

I am a Jaylon fan. The fact that he is playing in the NFL is a testament of his determination and heart. That being said after watching the preseason games so far, he is clearly are 5th best linebacker. Playing him with Parsons has exposed his weaknesses even more. He can’t read and react. To be honest honest he looks like a shell of his 2018 self.

Agree completely. Also a Jaylon fan. But as of right now he can blitz the QB. He has regressed everywhere else.

Not even. If you watch that play against the Cards, Jaylon is considerably far right of the RB. LVE is directly over the RB in the box. LVE actually overtakes Jaylon in pursuit. It's as if Jaylon wasn't there.

Not in the 2nd round.

In hindsight it was a bad pick. But if you believe you're getting the player he was meant to be, it's a great pick. Players have come back from devastating knee injuries to be great players. This guy was a rookie.
