We have alot of players who are just good enough to start and just do enough to keep their starting job week in and week out. It's like passing a test with a 72. After looking at this objectivly, no wonder why we finished 9-7. We have too many of those types of players. Our oline comes to mind when I think of this. LB is another quailty example of this. Carpertner is going to be a stud though next year. Burnett is a bust, James and Aydole fit the role of my thesis. Julius Jones fits the bill. We need upgrades at OL, LB, and starting RB. We just need consistency. For everyone that says to draft Peterson, he will be a top 5 pick. We messed up big time by not taking Steven Jackson. That pushed our franchise back by a few seasons because if we have Jackson we would be hosting a home game next weekend. opinions
