I honestly didn't forget, just didn't know. I don't follow hockey. My bad on that.Clearly you've forgotten about the NHL.
The Golden Knights have been the gold standard on how to build a hockey team.
Yup. And LV is playing him in his best position, ST's and nickel back.Until Diggs is back, Heath has 3 times as many INTs as the Cowboys active squad.

Danny Ocean. An ocean? A diverse economy? An athletic team at the highest level other than in football?
Agree for the most part except for some strange reason, a few people hold some 1st rounders to lower standards than our JAGs.Our fans hold every one of our players to a 1st round standard....Romo was held to the standard of a #1 overall pick for his entire career...
Why people expected Heath to be prime Ed Reed is absurd.

So is the Cowboys defense. And he is doing it playing roughly half of the defensive snaps.

Despite those numbers, Heath was not starting for the Raiders until Week 7 when he was inserted into the lineup because of injury. There's a reason for that. He's a good role player, at his best when he's back deep and able to attack the ball. The Raiders got him for depth, which is what he is ... good depth.
Our problem is that we've neglected safety so much that we had to start Heath and even tried to play him out of position at SS until we figured out that he wasn't good at that role.
Heath's biggest problem was the made up fan narratives. Heath was an above average backup and below average starter, which was fine for what he was paid. But the fan narrative was "Heath is the worst safety in the NFL" based on a made up stat by PFF. This year's version of that is "Trysten Hill was the worst DT in the NFL".
Meanwhile PFF ratings come from quick check the box reviews coming from people making slightly more than minimum wage.
Jeff Heath PFF = 81.1
Jamal Adams PFF = 58.8
While I do agree that "the worst safety" stuff is fan hyperbole, I think many of the problems with Heath were simply from the Cowboys counting on him to start without realizing that he wasn't anything more than an above-average backup. Resent builds up fast and is taken out on the player who is just trying to do the best he can. Putting Heath in a position that doesn't suit him (replacing strong safety Church) didn't help.

One's free......that's it! LolReally? You can catch a disease from both, so how is one better than the other?
I'm sure it shows Adams is the worst safety in the NFL.
Looks like we dodged a bullet in not trading for the guy this year.
