Assumptions:
1) You are not COMPLETELY against Pacman coming to Dallas
2) Jerry has him sign a low based contract that is incentive laden for protection

What is the most you would consider giving the Titans in a trade?

I didn't think about it, but I just noticed that the Titans pick #24, two spots behind us at #22. According to Todd McShay at ESPN, their needs are:
1. WR
2. DE
3. DT
4. CB
5. C

Pittsburgh at #23 has needs as follows:
1. C
2. OT
3. DE
4. RB
5. G

I might consider swapping places with them and then you don't even lose a pick. The value of #22 is 780 and the value of #24 is 740...about the equivalent of a low 4th rounder if you go by the popular trade value chart.

I can see Tenn going WR or DE and Pitt going OL, so that means CB is still a viable option if we choose to go that direction as well.

Conditional Pick.

Ceiling - Plays 16 game and goes to Pro-Bowl - 3rd rd pick next year.

Floor - Get suspended for any reason - zilch.

Anywhere in between gets a pick based on his performance.

since no one else is shopping for him, give a 7th and call it a day. or like hos said, slide akin to the titans and let's trade players and keep picks.

no need to overpay when all you're doing is assuming risk.

He's worth the dirt underneath my shoe... I would be upset if Jerry brings this ****** to Dallas. The draft has a lot of good CB's in it.

Guess you gonna be lookin to root for another team soon, cause hes comming to dallas, whether the haters like it or not. can't wait.. ;)

Pac-Man for Ayodele wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

At least Ayodele is a solid NFL player...he doens't do the spectacular, but he does what is expected of him. He would be a good fit for Tennessee's defense.

Im getting the idea that the Titans are not interested in a conditional pick. Theres the article from the Tennesseean stating that they are going to wait for him to be reinstated to trade him and that to me means that they are being offered conditional picks based on reinstatement.

If they truly want to just move on then to me that is the best explanation although its possible that they think hell be more valuable if hes reinstated so who knows.

Now as an aside, I do believe that Jones and Fisher have to be pressuring Goodell to revisit the suspension before the draft.

Now people like to say that Goodell is Kraft's patsy but I think the more likely scenario is that he is the owners as a whole patsy. It would make sense that they get a commisioner they can control and he sure seems like hes controlled.

Jones hasn't been in any legal trouble since he was arrested in Las Vegas in February of 2007 which was 2 months beofer he was suspended. All of the various cases up to and including the Las Vegas case and the Nashville case have been resolved.

Now it is possible that Goodell might try to save face but lets be honest, he showed and has shown no propensity to do that regarding the Pats and with two bigwigs like Jones and Fisher applying the heat I doubt he acts much differently.

I imagine they'll find out he's going to be reinstated, maybe even by the draft as I've seen rumored, and then they'll deal him for the rumored 5th rounder.

Hell no, hes not worth a 3rd when no other team is interested in him.

Just give them a 5th or 6th and leave it at that.

I have a feeling that once he's re-instated a couple more teams are going to come out of the woodwork with an interest in Pacman. I don't think we'll get into a bloodbath bidding war, but at the end of the day, I think it's going to cost is more than just a 6th or 7th round pick. The guy was taken 6th overall just 3 years ago. Yes, I'm aware of the inherent "Pacman danger" that will lower his trade value, but Pacman for a 7th is a steal that I don't think is going to happen.

He is perfect for Dallas.......think about it......after a long dry summer, what is it that PacMan can do like no other..........he can make it rain

They were talking about Pacman to Dallas on Sportscenter around 1 this morning and they said the holdup to the deal is Jerry worrying about the PR hit.

Getting a player he knows could tarnish the star has to worry Jones.

Which is why Irvin brought him to Dallas for a 3 hour interview.
