I still don't understand what is allowed for a TD celebration. What is the difference between the Salvation Army kettle celebration and jumping into the stands or these team celebrations in the end zone that actually take longer than the kettle penalty ? I think it's just a call depending on whether the refs like you or not.

Something about using a prop, but I get your point. The Bears used the football as a prop (something Dallas was penalized for in the past) and I don't believe they were flagged. But I agree that it is ridiculous.

I don't mind so much taking that penalty in the 4th up by three scores. It's not their fault we can't cover the shorter kickoff. I just hope they don't do it in a tighter game.

Jumping into the kettle was specifically mentioned to the teams as a penalty. I have no idea why, but the league doesn't want players jumping into the kettle. Maybe salvation army refused to pay the league a fun tax on the prop.

Yet the stands and crowd at Lambeau are not a prop? Just ridiculous

It's a Cowboys thing you wouldn't understand. I wouldn't be surprised if Zeke doesn't get suspended 6 games for conduct detrimental to the league for it.

If that was a penalty, then why wasn’t the Zeke donation a penalty? The money is a prop and used the kettle.

My guess is that anything that belong somewhere on the field is useable for the celebration as long as it is associated with the NFL whether it is a product, fan brought, or it is rented (stadium).

If the kettle bell celebration had originated in Green Bay, then it wouldn't be a penalty...but only in Green Bay.

Whether it's ridiculous or not isnt the point .imo.

Just dont do it and get that flag.

It really gave them hope in a game that was all but done. Its selfish.

And the missed helmet to helmet on Woods was more of a stupid flag/miss imo.

I'm just glad they loosened up the rules on it overall. There for awhile it was just ridiculous. This guys are young and working hard. Let them have a little fun when they achieve a goal on the field.

We got plenty of breaks on the penalty front yesterday

A camera man gave him the $21. Zeke did not pull in out of any place hidden. Nor was it probably set up for him to do that.
And if so, the NFL can't prove it.
