What is AOA's future?

Curious to see what everyone thinks will become of AOA.

We all know his story by now; 4th pick from tiny school; a good athlete; moved quickly over to safety soon after joining the Cowboys; failed to make the roster; cut and signed to the practice squad converted to WR.

It's a bit alarming to think the Cowboys' coaching staff thought so little of his future at safety that they switched him to offense.

I'm interested in seeing if he can stand out as a returner (a role he's shown very little ability in) and as a coverage unit player. I get the feeling that once Harris gets healthy (bad hammy) that AOA may get cut once again.

He will be in the mix for 4th wide receiver next year, but I think the competition is going to be too great.

I don't see him on the roster next year. He won't be a returner when Miles returns. The development of Laurent Robinson, let's you put Dez on returns if Miles is healthy.

Yeah, I don't see him competing for the 4th receiver spot at all. If anything, I think he's competing for the 5th or 6th spot depending on how many receivers we keep.

He's got a chance to come in at the bottom of the roster next season, depending on what he can do for the rest of this year.

I doubt he lasts the rest of the season, if all he has is what we saw this past weekend.

I was actually intrigued my AOA when we drafted him. But if the guy had a chance, I would think we would have seen a flash or two by now. I, for one, have not.

If I was them, I'd get him outta here ASAP and bring back McCann if we're just looking for a special teams returner.

this.

I kind of think of him like devin hester, but of course he doesn't have devin hesters returning ability.

Didn't devin hester start out as a CB than moved to wr?

AOA just so far hasn't really shown anything in the return game.

who else went in the 4th round that year (that is good)? we gambled on a project and failed so far....

this....i wonder why we didn't. I think McCann might of fumbled acouple times or is loose with the ball. But he was the best returner not name dez we had.

McCann signed 2 year deal with baltimore a few weeks back.

Somebody better tell the Ravens then because he's been cut and walking the streets since Nov. 5.

I'd take McCann back under the right circumstances, but as a corner: Frank Walker > McCann
