Has any information come out at all about what kind of rehab timeline Crayton is on for this ankle injury?

I thought I saw something about "more than two weeks" but I'm not sure.

Thanks in advance!

Last I heard he was expected to play in the last pre-season game so chances are we are looking at about 2 weeks recovery time

I think that I heard in one of the press conferences that he could return to practice as early as next week.

Was it an ankle sprain or a "High" ankle sprain? If it was "High", then he will more than likely miss the rest of the preseason, I would think.

I remember Parcells saying the MRI showed fluid only in the bottom portion (ankle sprain) and not up further (high ankle sprain).

Also factor in that he didn't show himself to be exactly what you would call a quick healer last season.

they all said that it wasn't as serious as last year's injury

he tore his ankle, and came back much sooner than expected, or was warranted for his type of injury

could be as much as 4 weeks. .....never know for sure with those high ankle sprains...

Basically the answer seems like nobody knows for sure. Kind of like the Julius Jones situation last year, it could be another week, it could be early in the regular season before he's close to 100%.

He broke a bone. Bones take about 6 weeks to heal. That's how much time he missed.

Once he came back, he contributed nothing. Parcells said over and over that Crayton needed to step up because he was taking forever to get back to playing shape.

I thought he rushed back from his injury?
