The Patriots traded Chandler Jones for a 2nd round pick. The Bears gave up first-round picks in 2019 and 2020, a third-round pick in 2020 and a sixth-round pick in 2019 to acquire Mack, a second-round pick in 2020 and a conditional fifth-round pick in 2020. I honestly think D Law for Josh Rosen and the 33rd overall pick is a fair deal since D Law is more comparable to Chandler Jones.

Why would we want Rosen
Two ones and I’m all in if we can’t get a deal done

With the Joneses involved?

I don't think you are a very nice person for even asking that question.

It feels like a hate crime.

Puke

What is the obsession with Rosen.... he sucked at UCLA and at ARI

At best 2 1st at worst this years 1st and 2nd. Add to that a top 10 team then I would look to do it.

Probably a 2nd since he is looking to be paid a huge amount. You never know what a team might give up. Raiders and chiefs are both looking for pass rushers so if you are lucky they part with a 1st or more.

I don't get this board. For years, people have complained about a lack of pass rush. Now we have franchise DE and people want to unload him? It's baffling.

It's not that. I just don't trust his recurring shoulder and back issues. We may have already seen the best of him.

Are you OK with $80 million guaranteed? Because that's what it's going to take.

I'd try to get the bills 2nd round pick and throw in some cigarettes, after shave, and body massage chairs for the team. Throw in a lot of lotion too, the Bills are going to need it.

I'm fine with the Cowboys paying whatever the market dictates. Next to QB, a franchise pass rusher is the hardest position to fill.

Right now - zero value. I don't see any team giving him a LT deal with a shoulder that needs fixing.

There's also a subtle shift in the NFL of placing higher value on interior rushers.

Many QBs are virtually impossible for outside rushers to sack these days because the ball is out so fast. Offenses are dictating this.

So guys like Aaron Donald become more valuable than Khalil Mack. Up the middle pressure throws off quick passing offenses more than outside speed guys.

Therefore, should we consider Gerald McCoy rather than Lawrence?

Assuming he was on a 1 year contract, a 2nd like Chandler Jones would probably be fair.

I wouldn't even entertain the idea. Dallas just lost Gregory & Taco looks unimpressive. Only way I would trade Tank is if I am getting back another DE with established NFL sacks + draft pick.

If he don’t get his shoulder fixed soon then a bag of chips. I am wondering if he isn’t waiting to get it fixed to force the FO to sign him. Hurt shoulder drops his trade value.

Not sure what a "franchise DE" is but seeing Lawrence compared to Ware and suggestions of paying him like Donald and Mack are baffling to me.
