Dak is a better than average passer, exceptional out of the pocket, and tough as hell, he wanders into sacks and will complete 10 straight and then over throw an easy TD

generally, he doesn't throw stupid INTs, that sub 1% INT rate is his best stat, in a 2 minute drill - his stats and performance have been top notch - that matters.last off season his biggest flaw when drafted, horrible short touch, got fixed - that was impressive and he delivered vs long odds in a playoff run

he is franchise QB, but what is Dak friendly really gonna look like with Cooper, Gallup, Hurns, Cobb, Wilson, Austin, Witten, Jarwin, Schultz, Zeke, and RB?

Notice that's a good set of fast targets - same OL, hopefully healthier
* Fleming, Looney, and Xavier are good back ups*
coming out of camp that's a good O
how good depends how you use it ... so what the heck will Kellen's O look like?

BTW, I think this has been in the works for a while - this has been orchestrated
- first off the brain trust have all played in this O, and for this FO
- Kellen had JG and Dak sold last pre-season, that's impressive from a 1st year coach
- everyone of the WRs and TEs are considerably faster than the guys they replace
- they flipped the O personnel super quick and other than QB and RB are rather deep.

will Kellen be in the booth? what run pass mix? same play book or a major rewrite? pace? ... ?

IMO, he has a lot to work with

5 yards to the right, 5 yards to the left, 2 yards to the right, 3 yards to the left...

The biggest takeaway I got from Moore at Boise was the amount of shifting they did to bring about confusion and mismatches.

We can hope
This. ^^^^

I believe Kellen Moore will definitely open up the playbook and use some of that old Boise State shifting, crosses and stunts to take advantage of our quicker & faster receivers to create mismatches and get receivers open. I only hope he runs plays that get receivers open both early in the short, mid-range and deep.

Our Oline's health will be a key factor. Give Dak, Zeke and our receivers time to create mismatches, and this offense can light it up. Use our offensive receiving strength to allow the pass to open up the run, and visa/versa.

Expect a higher scoring average offense. Hope the defense improves, especially in the middle of our Dline. Team has the talent to be better. Needs better playcalling.

Not sure you can get any more QB friendly then Dak has now. Top 5 line, very good mix of pass catchers, Zeke. The ONLY big thing he is missing is a good scheme and play caller. Will that be Moore? Personally, I dont think even Linehan could screw up this offense.

I'm so sick of the 'Dak Friendy' thing. Never hear of Brady friendly or Rodgers friendly. If this guys the real thing let him go out and just play. Yeah, surround him with some talent obviously but good grief it always sounds like the whole team needs to be catered to help this guy succeed.

Every offense should be "friendly" to that team's particular QBs style, but only in Dallas is that term used. Of course, an offense should be "insert QB name here" Friendly, should it be hostile instead? It was hard to tell, I guess, why wasn't Dak scrambling and running more often, was it Dak? Linehan? Garrett? Was it Stephen, he made his opinion well known how he felt about Dak running?

Brady Friendly offense is short quick passes, since he doesn't have the mobility, Brees Friendly kind the same, lots of short passes especially to RBs, even though he has better mobility than Brady, Rodgers Friendly is kinda the opposite, longer passes, scrambling and looking for the big plays, similar to Wilson, not as many short passes use his scrambling ability, looking for the deep pass, Goff friendly, lots of motion to simplify reads and create mismatches.

That term "friendly" was first used with Romo and it was a cop out, which really meant the OC wasn't doing a good job matching the QB's skillset and stength's to the play design and playcalls. There was a big deal when they decided to make the offense Romo Friendly, but the real question should have been why wasn't it Romo Friendly before?

Dak friendly is between the numbers and 10 yards deep. All the weapons in the world will be useless outside of that box! You want get a real look at how well Dak throw the ball just go back and watch all the tape of his passes inside the redzone from the 10 yard line in. Majority are his runs and screens.

One option 3 yards deep to alleviate confusion and the fullback holding steady at the line for a dump off.

I think he is what he is at this point.

Its his 4th season.

Not going to change for the better over the offseason, which is short.

We all know what his problems are.

Uuuh, not according to actual video. Still hating on Dak with false accusations, H.E.?
