Actually just saw a Twitter post so obviously take this with a grain of salt. Anyway, someone posted a picture with him at a UFC fight I think, and someone made the comment of him being the LB coach. OP replied saying he actually asked him about returning to the Cowboys as a coach and Lee replied something along the lines of he's just waiting for the call or that'd he'd love to.

Boats are expensive. Lol. Hope we make a move like this. Marketing wise, it is in the Jones wheelhouse. Experience wise, he could be a difference mmaker. I believe he could fit into the DQ plan and really help.

A great player that understands film. His body broke down. We have an opportunity to get a guy that can coach up the young kids.
Here we go again.
A personal fave. "Make him a coach!"
Uninformed fans are funny.

Sean and his wife like to ride bikes, be at the beach, and find the next fish taco joint.

I don't think the grind of the NFL interests him at this point in time.

I thought he was working as a scout for the Cowboys. At least that was what I read he was doing right before the Parsons draft.

Sean Lee is exactly the type of ex-player that Dan Quinn wants as a position coach.

With DQ returning as DC...this could be one the next hires during these coaching staff moves.

I still remember the game when the Cowboys let D. Murray walk and his first game against the Cowboys at the Eagles. Sean Lee was like a heat seeking missile hell bent on destroying Murray, He beat him up pretty good that game, I guess he did not like him...lol

With what’s going on in the NFL, ESPNs talking heads would have a collective coronary if Sean Lee was given a coaching position

Can we just hire coaches with experience?
How mich more experience do you require of a LB Coach? Sean Lee played the position and was a ‘coach on the field’ during his time in Dallas. He would regularly pre-snap QB the defense and players, directing them to their positions and advising them on their responsibilities on the play at-hand. Dude gets it and always DID. Smart smart guy.

They were close friends when Murray was on the team. That makes that story more impressive for Sean. The dude was all business on gameday. Even against his good bud.

I do believe the FO gave Sean a chance to stay on the team as an assistant or coach but he declined saying he wanted to take some time off and might decide later.
They've had a number of former players basically as interns. I don't see Lee going for that.
