AC/DC was able to basically clone with success...but they are one of a handful of bands able to pull off such a maneuver.

That is the first time I've really heard the new singer of Journey. Based on the few minutes I watched and heard that guy...........well he sucks. I felt sorry for Ross and Neal.

Journey has had a few singers since Steve Perry left...I saw Journey a few years ago with one of the replacemen singers and he sounded life Perry, so it wasn't bad. They have a new cd out and I am guessing by reading the previous posts that it may not go well...

You probably saw Steve Augeri (O' jerry). He was pretty good, but no Perry. I saw a clip of some new guy about a year ago....he was Filipino IIRC. Does that sound like the guy you saw?

lol...I heard they were going to hire that guy, but I didn't believe it.

They should've hired "Frontier". It's a Journey cover band that's arguably as good as the original. I've seen them in DC twice, and they were pretty impressive.

I saw them here in Rapid City with Augeri a few years ago and though they sounded great.
