What is the benefit of keeping McCarthy at this point?

It’s sad that I, a fan, can sit here and know that you can’t bring McCarthy, Dak, or both back.

You had to make a change after that game and they went full status quo, gave Dak a monster deal, and didn’t improve the roster at all.

I've always defended McCarthy, but him letting CeeDee overdo it and get hurt is without excuse.
I think he's a good coach, but if he's sold out to Jerry to the point that he can't remember his job, he may need to go.

This. He only fired Wade midseason because he had a guy in Garrett he was dying to promote to HC. And I think Jerry has since said he regrets not waiting until after the season. Dont expect any firings during the season.

Just aesthetically I’ve had enough of watching this mopey group. They had a nice strong run of 12 wins , they did their thing. Moving on
