It should be a hard cap, but the players won’t go for that…I’d love it if there was a hard cap but you could exceed it to resign your own free agents.

I want a hard cap on every position, you saw JSN reset the market yesterday, at what point will there be a 100 million dollar year player???? Hard cap each position the best of the best qb's can get let's say 40 million and the ones under that can get below that and not exceed that. Now I know people will say the owners will benefit from keeping all the money, NO let's find a way to put this money to stadium maintinance or paying cheerleaders fair pay something lol

Got to be some changes, of that there is no doubt. These humongous contracts are keeping the name QBs out of the playoffs/super bowl. And that will cost the NFL money, sooner or later.

That's why they created all those rules about hitting the QB. At one point in the 80s, like half or more of the NFL's starting QBs were on IR.

There should be a discount for draft picks to re sign. You shouldn’t be punished for drafting well.
