A Boston native living in Dallas called into the Galloway Show on the drive home and said the Cowboys played in the JV League and said that the Steelers would dominate in the NFC. He also said we only had 1 good player on defense and that nobody outside of Dallas had heard of Terence Newman.

Last time I saw the head to head record, it was 23-30 in favor of the NFC?

I don't need to know the record to know that Pittsburgh would not do that well in the NFC. They lost to the hapless Jets. Also to the always great Cardinals of the AFC. Knowing how both the Cardinals home fans fail to show up and the Steelers fans like to travel that was like an extra home game and they still lost. The Steelers are not a great team this year. A good team and that is it.

There is not that great a difference between the conferences. The Patriots are the best team right now and they are in the AFC, but the rest of the AFC contenders are comparable to the NFC contenders.

looks to me like it's 27-27.
That's correct

The AFC South and AFC North has had the most success against the NFC.
