What is the deal with the lack of FA signings?

8 days has passed and we have yet to sign anyone. 8-8 season upcoming

Probably not going to hear much if anything before March 1st when the new league year starts because teams only have an idea of what the salary cap is. All we know is the projected cap number and even that is disputed by all the media outlets. That number will affect just how many you will do.

I expect things to pick up before we hit March 10th teams including Dallas will be looking to get some players signed before they hit FA market where the price tags tend to go up as teams are competing for players.

Not joking - I would have liked the Cowboys to at least take a look at a couple of CFL guys that got signed. Breaux to NO and Heenan to IND.

Well Phil the FA right now I'm most concerned with are our own. Dallas can deal with their own FA at any time and while I'm sure negations are well under way I would hope to get some deals done before the opening of league FA starts.
