between the Cowboys and the Saints?

Besides the record of course:bang2:

I read posts where some say that we are a young team with new this and new that.... Look at the Saints.. new coach, new QB, lots of rookies... and they get it done....

is it Payton?
is it Brees?

or ?

sidebar: I did bash Payton for years... but now I wonder if it was the fact that HE WAS NOT a HC that was holding him back... calling ALL THE SHOTS... he looks like he knows what he's doing....

We on the other hand HOPE that our HC knows what he is doing....

Brees is a great QB, makes decission with the ball very quickly, accurate passer, leads his team well.

I think Payton is doing a great job too, so i think its a little of both.

In Bledsoe's defense and I've been a supporter all along up until the Eagles game when his mistakes (helped by OL in some cases) really got to me. Just seems to me that he's missing wide open WRs that he would have hit last year. So I'm wondering how he physically feels. In Jax game he looked very good the first few drives but then got as cold as cold can get. Does anybody remember when he slide (and got hit) and then when we saw him on the sidelines often seemingly trying to limber up his back. Just wondering if he's having continuing back problems (which not being reported--maybe he's saying nothing cause getting injuried is how he lost his job to Brady). He's taken lots of hits over the years and maybe it's finally caught up with him. One would think our trainers and Parcells would know if that's the case but our saying nothing publicly OR Bledsoe's keeping mum even from them. Again it just seems likes he's missing wide open WRs way more then he did last year. He's got to play well and not make mistakes in next game or two cause Parcells (and we would never know cause Parcells certainly wouldn't say anything) may have him on a very short lease--particularly given fact Romo was allowed to throw several passes.

Here's something I haven't seen theorized...what if he DID hurt his back and he's on pain meds? I had some extensive dental work done and they gave me vicodin/oxycontin for pain. When I took that stuff I thought I was fine and able to react normally to everything. Not true. The thing is, that stuff makes you feel like you have a pillow stuffed between your ears. Physically you are fine but your brain just seems to react and think a tad slower than normal. To me that sounds exactly like what's going on with Bledsoe...he's just a little ways off from his performances of even last year. If he's taking some kind of narcotic pain meds it would sure explain a lot.

So he has been on these meds off and on his whole career?:rolleyes:

the saints have had talent for year. duece, horn, great de's, they have had the talent but now they have a qb, and a solid coach. they got going and they are playing with a ton of emotion.hard to beat a team playing that high, but hard to get a team to play week in and week out that high

Well whats the difference between the fact that in BP's 1st year we were able to rip off 5 wins in a row beginning in week 2 with the likes of QC and T-Ham yet havent been able to win more than 2 in a row ever since even though everyone would agree that the talent has gotten better as we've gone along?
