I wonder if Jerry is thinking I just paid my coach for 4 years but he can't win unless Romo is playing. To be fare must coaches don't win without there starting qb. At some point good coaching has to win couple of games. I just keep thinking would we be 0-4 without Romo if Belichek or JJohnson was coaching this team. But the reality is Garrett is coach here for a long time.

It's hard to pin this loss on the QB play today. He threw a couple of bad passes but that isn't why we lost.

That's a fair and good point OP. This team, with this talent should win a couple of games without Romo, no excuses.

Like many here, he's thinking up excuses.

He should be thinking Garrett has accomplished nothing as a coach without Tony Romo. He should be thinking extending Garrett might have doomed him from getting another SB chance. Last, he should be thinking of which experienced assistant coach he can bring in to hold Garrett's hand for game management.

Three interceptions.

One of which being a pick six. Two of which were in Giants territory as we likely could've at least gotten six points without those numb skull mistakes.

The excuses for these bum backup quarterbacks are comical. I blame myself for believing in these two.

It's hard to win football games in this league missing your two best players, especially when one is your QB.

JGarret's strength is supposed to be his system, the process, finding RKG's. But if he couldn't get more from the team after his bonding trip to Ground Zero what does he really have to offer.

We are still sloppy, get too many penalties and make too many mental mistakes. That is on coaching. Dress codes on airplanes don't win or lose games but Special Teams do and it seems like we ignore the latter.

I completely agree. No excuses. New England lost Brady for the season and was able to make the playoffs with a unknown qb named Cassell. The same Cassell that threw 3 ints in 5 passes today. When Rogers broke his collar bone a couple years ago, Green Bay was able to beat teams (like us) with their back up qb. Green Bay lost Nelson this year but you wouldn't know it by their record and their passing stats. Rothlisberger got hurt and they managed to win games.

The difference between those teams and our team is their coaches have picked up on this new, trendy fad in the NFL called making "adjustments". These "adjustments" are coaching techniques that require a coach to change a play or part of a scheme when it is not working or the players don't fit it. Some coaches have mastered this "adjustment" thing that between games they can make adjustments. Some coaches, and I mean the real Einsteins here, can do it even in the games!!!!

I know man, we're talking cutting edge coaching. Next level stuff. I dream of the day Dallas gets one of these New Age Coaches that study the art of adjustments.
