What is the latest on Tony Pollard?

Don't know how much merit it carries but, Skip said he could be out the rest of the way. Take it for what its worth.

He was a game-time decision. I think he could play next week, but it would be better to hold him out until the post season.

It will be a shame if this is the situation. I understand the "next man up" philosophy, but he and his production will be very hard to duplicate.

I mean i'm no doctor but if he has plantar fascia....that's not something that goes away during this season. I've seen players especially in the NBA play with it but this isn't a take a week off and recover injury.

Ito Smith time, and he is actually faster than Pollard.

Plantar fascia tears don't heal in a week or two, so expect him to miss some time then play through it as best he can.

I see no reason to play him vs the Giants.

Only if that game is important to winning the top seed. Other than that, I don't expect to see Pollard again until the play offs. His foot won't heel in that time but it will get better and he play on it if needed in a 2 or 3 weeks, just let him rest and find a KO returner and let him just be back #2 when he does return.

From what Ive read, its a 12 weeks recovery.

4-8 weeks before running full time.

Likely out for the regular season.

It all depends. These plantar injuries can last 4 months sometimes. Other times they are about 4 weeks and your much better.I had it. It took me around 2 months before it was healed.
