We could play Frisco on turf designed by Jerry Jones and Albert Einstein. We aren't beating SF unless their plane crashes.
NoPhilly has to lose to NY once for the cowboys to even have a chance. Winning the division tiebreaker is their only hope.
Why?We Have To Go 3-0.. Philly Has To Lose 2 Of Their Remaining 4
Cowboys 13-4
Philly 12-5
What’s the issue?
Not necessarily true. They can win conference record tiebreaker if Philly loses to Arizona and Seattle and Dallas loser only to Miami.Philly has to lose to NY once for the cowboys to even have a chance. Winning the division tiebreaker is their only hope.
Strength of victory. Eagles have edge there right now. Dallas could overtake but unlikely as we stand.Wouldn't we have the same common opponent record in the situation I originally described?
No they didn’t. The Eagles’ Jets loss balances that out. Loss to Seattle would balance out Arizona loss for tiebreakerYou guys are skipping a tiebreaker.
Common games is before conference record and strength of victory. Dallas basically killed any chance at that by losing to Buffalo.
So basically we lose because we played the Panthers?Strength of victory. Eagles have edge there right now. Dallas could overtake but unlikely as we stand.
If Philly loses tonight, the Cowboys still suck.At that point we would both have losses to each other, SF, one other NFC and AFC team. If both teams win out from there, the head to head, division and conference records are all the same.
Anyone?
No, no. Stop. It’s hopeless. No they didn’t. The Eagles’ Jets loss balances that out. Loss to Seattle would balance out Arizona loss for tiebreaker
Yes. But I have a sneaking suspicion Tommy Cutlets is sick and tired of the Giants always losing to the Eagles and Cowboys. So basically we lose because we played the Panthers?
they take it I understandWhat is the tiebreaker if we have the same division and conference record?
I guess you can look at it that way. Strength of victory is a tie breaker that's decided by who beat the better teams. At least that's the intention behind it. We're not winning that tie breaker. So basically we lose because we played the Panthers?
No way eagles lose tonight so just focus on 5tth seed. Seattle has no shotAt that point we would both have losses to each other, SF, one other NFC and AFC team. If both teams win out from there, the head to head, division and conference records are all the same.
Anyone?
Who really cares, the Boys aren't going to win their division which is going to force them to play a road playoff game and it will be one and done for them.At that point we would both have losses to each other, SF, one other NFC and AFC team. If both teams win out from there, the head to head, division and conference records are all the same.
Anyone?
