What is the word with guy?

There’s times I actually forget he’s on the roster. Yet, here we are, he’s entering into his fourth season.

You never read/hear any rumblings about him like “coaching staff really feels Waletzko has turned the corner…Waletzko pushing for playing time…” If this guy could develop into our primary swing tackle I’d count it as a win.

The word is BYE. As in,

If it comes down to him or Cornelius, they will probably go with Cornelius. Waletzko probably had more upside coming out than Cornelius does, but you have 1 year of a rookie contract Vs. 4

He was a 5th rounder who is still in the roster heading into year 4. Thats not bad value for the pick
He won’t be. 5th rounder? I don’t expect Larry Allen

But when your team is eliminated and you aren’t seeing reps that’s all you need to know. The surgeries and injuries definitely slowed the development

With Richards able to play LT, Guyton a natural RT and Cornelius having position flexibility, he is likely gone.

It's time guys stop making the roster just because we are comfortable with them. Waletzko is the poster boy for this. PS at best. As the old Parcels saying goes "churn the bottom of the roster"

Stop making sense and posting reasonable takes, I'm reporting you.
Nobody is hating Matt.

How many tackles are you carrying?

Guyton and Steele are your starters.

Richards is the swing. Cornelius plays tackle and guard and Adeniji has multiple starts at OT in the NFL. It’s just a numbers game as they are beyond deep at OG

I'd think he gets cut relatively early. He isn't the HC or coaching staff's guy. Wasn't picked while any of them were around.

He will be on a nfl roster
Maybe not Dallas

O.Line are a value, rare commodity
And Tackles even more so

His injuries 1st 2 yrs set the table for his roster slide...risk of nfl career.
No need to bash or "carp" him.
He was a non trouble teamate gotta appreciate that this day & age.
