What are you defining it off of? Bad coaches, bad owners, bad uniforms, bad fans, bad food, ugly stadiums? What are we looking at here, opinion, just seeing what sticks today?

NFC West is still the gold standard for terrible football. Games from the AFC West are at least intense. A Seattle vs. St. Louis game can't hold the jock strap of say a Denver vs. KC game.

In another topic we were comparing QBs, so people could say which one theyd take over Romo...

If they said a qb in any of the 3 divisions i wrote up there, its a joke...

Cutler (fmr), Rivers, Warner

It's between the NFC and AFC West, imo.

I'll rank the teams as how I think they'll be in 2009...but it could be a real scramble of mediocrity between all the team beow the top 2.

1--Arizona (NFCW) 10-6
2--San Diego (AFCW) 10-6
3--Seattle (NFCW) 8-8
4--San Francisco (NFCW) 7-9
5--Denver (AFCW) 7-9
6--Oakland (AFCW) 6-10
7--Kansas City (AFCW) 6-10
8--St Louis (NFCW) 3-13

Looks like a tossup

AFC West, hands down.

The Chargers won it last year at 8-8 and I really don't think any of the teams have drastically improved this off-season.

maybe not...especially kc may not win 6.....

I was just going to put them in order but then decided to toss out a hypothetical record. I think both teams will be better than the 5-11 and 2-14 of last year, but who knows what the records will be. Could only be 6-10 and 3-13...

we'll see

I agree, the NFC West is the weakest division in football and has been for a long time now.

The AFC West is pretty weak as well but it wasn't very long ago that both the Chargers and Broncos were good. Even the Chiefs were good a few years ago. In 2005 & '06 all 3 had winning records.

I used to hate the sixty niners and how they used to rack up the wins due to a candy *** bunch of division opponents. I'm referring to the 90's Super Bowl days with the Triplets, vs. Steve Young and Jerry Rice's 9er days. Dallas had a beast of a division which saw 5 out of 6 years of the division winner from the NFC East in the Super Bowl, and then the dang niners with division opponents such as the Aints, the Scrams, and the Chuk and Duck birds... lol

AFC West is pretty much the worst. NFC West has Seattle and Arizona, San Francisco is not looking too bad either. Rams are pretty pitiful.

AFC West has Kansas City, Oakland, and Denver, all bad teams. San Diego doesn't look to get much better than 8-8 either.

Definitely AFC West.

The NFC West is garbage and the AFC West is close behind followed by the AFC East.

New England is slated to be high octane but their division certainly won't offer them any challenges.

Miami will have a severe sophomore slump after no longer having a kid glove schedule, a rookie quarterback on a bad Jets team equals 5 wins, Buffalo might be 8-8 or 9-7 at best, TO will be PO'd by mid-season.

In the AFC West San Diego will probably do their usual underachieving but still capture the division crown and win a playoff game.

Denver will be atrocious as will Oakland and Kansas City has nowhere to go but up which still might mean 3-13.

Arizona will repeat as division champs if the aging Seahawks don't take to their new coach, the Niners will improve but may not have a better record to show for it, the Rams are like the 90s Cowboys, kings at the beginning of the decade and miserable by the start of the new one.

Maybe I'm a hater but i think the East, except for Dallas, is way down...

...and still the toughest division in football

but I'd put the NFC South at like 5 on your list

AFC West

Not the NFC West with them just sending a team to the SB. IMO that leaps them higher than all the divisions that didn't send anyone.

NFC North, no longer. The Cutler acquisition by the Bears is BIG! Favre to the Vikings would also be huge. Then after seeing Ryan in Atlanta last season, who's to say what this kid in Detroit might be worth. Also can't rule Rodgers and the Pack out just yet. Both might have something to prove if #4 lands in Minny.

Maybe the NFC East. I only see 1 team worth a damn- us. The other three straight up punks and they suck! Haha.
