-our two starting tackles are among the league worst in the entire league. One is in the developmental stage, where the other is maxed out and already signed an extension.

Should Steele be cut this offseason? Can Richards ascend to become the starter? Should they target a starter in the draft?

-Can they run the football against the elite teams, can they score more rushing TD's? This has been an issue since Zeke broke down. Reason why they struggled so much against the 49ers for several years is cause they just couldn't run the ball at all against them, became one dimensional.

Scheme has to change, also need to upgrade the running back room and perhaps finding a quality replacement for Zach Martin who maybe retiring this offseason.

Draft Targets: Banks Texas. Best G/T in the class.

Personally, want to see our younger prospects perform in a starting role, before adding another high level lineman, but if Banks is there, will be hard to pass him up, especially if Zach Martin retires.

I saw enough from our backup OL to feel good about seth we just need the young guys to continue to develop improve. I’m not using another 1st on an OL player. 2nd and beyond if it’s clear cut BPA? Sure.

I’m fine cutting Steele as long as the team thinks Richards can be an upgrade but a little risky.

As the OL gets a little better the running game gets better. Get some fresh legs and a coaching upgrade would help.

I think we should hold onto steele at least through training camp. I do not want to spend another early pick on Oline. Especially when I have so many positions already that I need to address.

We do know is the likes of Richards, Bass, Hoffman have played well when given the chance. Will they get exposed as starters? We just don't know until they are given the opportunity. I don't think they cut Steele unless they bring in a veteran to the group, we have to remind ourselves this is a very young group if Zach Martin decides to retire.

I agree, don't want to use another 1st rd pick until we get to see what we have first. However, if one falls in their laps have to consider it. That goes for the first 3 picks.

I think we have the talent to be a very good to excellent O line with the current personnel

AND A BETTER OL COACH!
I agree, you OL coach, new scheme, but they also have to add some veteran experience. Crazy to think, Tyler is the oldest outside of Steele.

Let's not forget to add Nathan Thomas to the mix. If Richards and Thomas can show they are as capable as Steele than they should move on from him. Cutting a little fat off the cap should be a priority.

Thomas is far behind the ones mentioned as he hasn't even played a single snap just yet and just started his development.

I know he is. But, I'm not counting him out due to injury. As fans we don't know what he is yet until we see some action. All players developed at different rates and if Thomas can show he belongs than he's in the mix. For me I feel Richards is on par with Steele and if Richards is better mentally than he is a leg ahead.

We have a lot of options on OL since we have some solid young guys and lots of versatility.

If we don't add anyone I think Tyler Smith should kick outside to LT, Guyton to RT, Steele to RG (his biggest problem is speed to the outside, I think he could be a plus guard), Hoffman/Bass/Beebe compete at C and LG.

If you draft Banks I think he's a T, you cut Steele June 1 probably or move him to RG if you're not spending in FA and move Guyton to RT.

They aren’t going to give up with Guyton so soon at LT, Steele lacks the strength to kick inside.

Heavily disagree on Steele and strength. Feel like that's one of his better traits and I don't see him get bull rushed.

If they draft a LT Guyton makes sense at RT considering he played it in college. That's not giving up on him. You want good tackles on both sides. The difference between side matters less than ever imo.

He gets bull rushed often, one of his biggest issues is his lack of strength.

Tyron Smith player right tackle in college too, but they projected him as a LT on this level.

Moving Guyton after all the time invested with him at LT would be insane IMO. He had a few solid games this years just needs to keep developing.

Drafting Banks to play right guard would give us one of better interiors. I can’t see how that wouldn’t help in the red zone.

To be honest the biggest red zone issue is we have nobody on the team and that has a nose for the end zone. Two touchdowns from Dowdle and zero touchdowns from Ferguson was pathetic. We need touchdown scorers.
