If you look around the league, S&G coaches are kind of a big deal.

All kinds of fancy stuff.

Woicik, nope.

I think it is a very valid thing to keep track of.

Joe Juraszek caught flak and then suddenly disappears.

Then the Patriots say bye to Woicik, and he's on Jones' payroll with the quickness.

He has all the rings. No question.

But with the different practice habits and exposure dictated by the CBA, does he have touch with it?

I have no clue...but, it seems to me, CBA or not his past teams had swagger. Not that big of a deal...I was just wondering.

Always with the pertinent observations...
Good to see a post of yours as one of my first reads being back.

On a serious note, I can tell you conditioning wise, this past TC there was a lot of coddling going on. I know football is a year round deal now for these guys, but almost every practice there was a handful of guys "working on the side with the bands".

Where was this talk when the Cowboys were among the healthiest teams in football last year? Especially on offense.

Fooled by randomness.

Last year we were one of the most durable, physical football teams in the league. This year obviously we are not.

Health is more luck in the NFL. So many teams are in a similar position. Only difference is, we lost the two players we could least afford to lose for an extended period of time.

I think we were the most durable because we practiced hard last year and a few of them actually worked out during the off-season like Murray.

This year Garrett went soft on the team and kept most of the main stars on the sidelines as per-caution. I think being too careful and not letting them practice to the full extent actually hurt the team. We should have just done the same thing this year as what we did last year.

1. I would question why NE let him go ??
2. he could be behind the times
3.Cowboys do seem out of shape , it showed in the philly game.

But this would just be one of many issues the cowboys have.

He needs to get Dez and Romo on a program that will prevent broken bones. Also, why is Sean Lee getting so many concussions? Does Woicik not have a method of training to prevent concussions?
