What is up with our special teams?

Terrible. Just terrible ST play so far in the preseason. No blocking on punt or KO returns, blocked fg, big return yardage plays... Bosaccia might not want to get too comfortable.

I don't know why we keep trying to run back kickoffs from deep in the end zone; that is part of the problem. I got excited on the last kickoff when we didn't try to run it out and got the ball on the 20. Good field position!

Perhaps they're simply auditioning guys that won't be used later to see how they handle themselves. I'm hoping once the regular ST members are settled upon some of these things will be eliminated. Otherwise, we'll be in deep doo-doo when the games that count are played. It's time to get it all together. Hopefully, the personnel for our ST units will be settled upon in the upcoming preseason games and we'll see things improve.

Miles Austin was good, but it has been a while since he returned kickoffs.

Harris was good punt returner last year, but I think it's been awhile sine we had a good kickoff guy. I suspect Dez could be good if they worked him more, but that's risky

I am not in favor of using a starting WR to return kicks. I know Dez was good at it. I also know teams do it all the time but it seems too risky.
