I didn't like what I saw in Wilcox last year at all . Bad angles while in pursuit , poor tackling , bad playing the ball in the air . I thought Heath outplayed him and so did the staff . Hope Wilcox has a better year though .Church is a lock to start IMO he had a very good season .

I am not a fan of Wilcox. I think were gambling on him like we gambled on the DL the year before.

Chrurch had a good season . He is an excellent tackler , solid at covering TE's except for the jimmy Graham's of the world . He has done a solid job and will continue to be the starter . Go watch the game tape . Wilcox on the other hand cost us so much they benched him .
Church was a top 3 defender for us last year .

Top 3 defender with who else on the field? lol. Yeah he is an excellent tackler and forces fumbles BUT he is if anything par at covering TE's. Meaning he will not prevent the completion but will make the tackle. I mean for it being his fourth season he should be the starter. Wilcox cost us so much? He had a knee injury and never really caught back up in my opinion. He was not benched prior to the injury and was having a rather normal rookie year.

Within two years I see Wilcox replacing Church and another hopefully top 3 round safety filling in at the FS position. I would love a Pryor-Wilcox safety duo..just saying.

We all saw nothing in Wilcox to merit him touching Barry church . He lost his starting job to Jeff Heath lol . There were several 3 rd down plays where Wilcox had position to make drive killing tackles and continuously missed and took terrible angels . He was bad really bad .

As stated before, Wilcox lost his job to Jeff Heath. Let that sink in. Wilcox has a long way to go to catch Church. Sad thing is about Wilcox is he was supposed to be such a big hitter and he didn't even do that outside of training camp.

He IS a cover safety and would be an instant starter. You have nothing to worry about though, as he won't last to our second pick.
