We were 5-3 with garrett and should have been 6-2. Thats with injuries and no romo. No ryan. No new defense. Playing players that sucked..barber williams davis etc. Without a new fs that we are about to get. Also without young players lije butler williams bryant brent etc getting better. Are you guys serious? Keep naysaying i love it and i am sure the players love it too. Thanks for motivating them even more!

Accountability means alot and we finally have it on both sides of the ball.

Why is everyone acting like wade is still coaching? Did anyone watch the last part of last year. Did you watch the year before? Our players can and will respond!

I'm glad we have all these new coaches. I've very excited to see what Rob Ryan will do with this defense. But on the other hand, these players have let us down time and time again. It's hard to trust them anymore. I want to see what they do on the field.

1. We were 6-10 last year.

2. Several key players played awful last year. It wasn't scheme, they sucked. Everyone's making this out to somehow be Wade's fault, like it was his defensive philosophy that was the problem. Are you kidding me? You may criticize him as a head coach, but that guy has ALWAYS put together very good defenses. Always, everywhere he's gone. He has one of the most respected defensive minds in the league.

3. We've got very little depth at some very important positions.

4. We've seen this happen before, new coach comes aboard, team gets energized in the short term, has some temporary success but ultimately slides back into mediocrity. Yes, the turnaround was impressive, but was it real? We'll find out soon enough.

Meh. There's valid reason for optimism. There's valid reasom for pessimism. I choose to remain optimistic until I see no reason to do so.

Can I get a AMEN!

I don't know why most of these guys are even fans still. All they do is whine and moan. We have a let down year after a 11-5 playoff season and now all of a sudden we're one of the worst teams in the nfl?

I'm not saying we'll dominate the league this year, but at least i'm cautiously optimistic. I'm mean damn, football's back, enjoy it! We have a very promising coaching staff, our star QB is back healthy, and overall we have a lot to look forward to. But no, we'd rather complain about us not spending money we don't have on overpaying 30 yr old FAs coming off a lockout.

Great call ...... funny thing some of the guys in that very thread are acting that way.

Happens every year....its as predictable as Christmas being on the 25th of December.

If you think there's something wrong with everyone then it's probably something wrong with you.

We went 6-10 last season, i wonder why people are not predicting a championship this season

I like the coaching changes. They should pay dividends this season, especially with a less demanding schedule as compared to last year. On the other hand, the backup strength is very questionable in several areas. As long as injuries are kept to an acceptable minimum, I believe we'll see significantly improved results over a disgraceful 2010 season. The team certainly appeared to collectively quit on Wade. I doubt that will occur with Garrett, at least during the upcoming season, in all likelihood. In any case, things should definitely prove themselves to be intriguing.

Most of the panic seems to be on the D side of the ball, I find myself actually more comfortable/optimistic about the D performing well.

With a new coach (discipline, accountability), new D coordinator, new scheme, new FS/SS (hopefully soon), development of Lee, Williams, Brent, Butler and a bounce back season from Jenkins.

The thing that concerns me most is the right side of the O-line, with a rook and Holland as projected starters at this point. There does not seem to be a plan to bring in any further O-line help. So I am hoping the reason for this is they have faith and have seen good things from Costa & Young. Early reports have been semi encouraging. I know I will be nervous about it, until I see them perform in preseason, I am just hoping the coaches have already seen it.
