What Is Wrong with Folk?

...I haven't seen much discussion of this since we have so many other issues, but is Folk battling a pulled muscle or something?

Obviously Folk is a great kicker and every kicker misses but Folk missed the short FG last Sunday, he missed the short FG against the Cards and he almost missed a couple of PATs.

I'm not overreacting, I just wonder if anyone read or heard anything about him lately?

You mean you missed the game-tieing 53 yarder against the Cards?

I'm wondering if he's hurt too-in the Cards game, both Brad and Babe kept eluding to it.

Had to happen sometime. He did have a "Bad" game by his standards, but I still think he's "money".


Whatever problems he may be having I don't think it's cuz of him specifically... seems like a team wide thing. Everyone but Ware is really sucking badly out there.

Yep-less not forget about Barber's fumble, Witten's penalty, Bennet's penalty, Johnson's INTs, poor tackling, OL breakdowns, etc, etc...

Pt being that the last 2 weeks, when we NEEDED someone to make a play, NOONE stepped up...you're right, it's a team-wide thing.

Hopefully, we get that corrected this week and move on. I guess it happens once in awhile.
 
Because this team is one big distraction, and it's getting in everyone's head.

We just need to ignore the media for a week or two, and get back to basics. Distractions come from the media, nothing else. Ask Bill Belichick. Why do you think his team never has any distractions? Because he doesnt let there be any.

WHen he misses, its barely a miss.

Not worried about him in the least.

When you lose to one of the worst teams in the league by multiple touchdowns, the feild goal kicker is kinda way down the list of problems.
 
Yeah, he has missed a couple of field goals lately.

Personally, I think the saying, "Losing is contagious" fits.

I think the players have flat out stopped buying into what Wade Phillips has been saying and I think negativity is starting to seep into their heads and it is affecting their play.

He missed a 46 yarder against the Rams. That is not a short one. Anything over 40 yards is not short. The 37 yarder against the Cardinals is more of a short one.
 
Whoa... Folk is probably the one player (besides Ware) I don't have a problem with. He's missed what, two FGs? And one of them hit the upright. Let's move along to bigger problems like our lines and how we can deal with all these injuries.
 
There is nothing wrong with Nick 'Money' Folk. Kickers are just going to miss one here and there and have a close one here and there. It's the nature of the game.

Folk is starting to display the classic symptoms of Suckinitous. This highly contagious disease starts by affecting one player, then spreading like wildfire throughout a lockerroom. Although Folk has an excellent immune system, all of the overwhelming suck germs spread throughout the lockerroom are starting to break his system down. Only known cure would be to rid the team of the host organism.
