What is wrong with Roy Williams?

Roy Williams is terrible. Flat out- Terrible.

I mean, has he made a play in any of the last 4 games? How many times is he going to let himself get blocked in one game? Fight through it, pretend like you care.

It is obvious he has not been the same player since he got paid.

I have yet to see him do anything that would change my mind. When Roy comes out and fires up the team and makes game changing plays like Dawkins, Taylor and Reed do just once in a big game game perhaps then he will be worth half of what he's getting payed and deserve half of the praise he gets.

I think you might be a bit extreme...BUT...in concept, I agree.

Roy Williams has not been the same player since Parcells arrived. To my eyes, the number of impact plays he's made per game, has dropped steadily.

I do think you hit on a good point though. Fans tend to give him more credit than he is due. He USED to be a beast out there.

I contend he was a force last year.....this year, nothing.

I dunno Ken...I don't see him as being the same guy he was.

Last year he started doing that dive at the ankles tackle.

Whatever. I'm just disgusted right now.

Seems as if the argument about any failing aspect of this team has a common ingredient.

A big old helping of Parcells.

Lets see. He can't redirect. Can't pick up the ball in the air. Can't put himself in the correct position to make a play. Can't wrap up. That should cover it. Bottom line is in the last four weeks he has played worse then any any time of the year. And yes, that does coincide with when the Cowboys went from very good to just average.

Well, I've been unhappy with him for the past three years.

This didn't do much to change that.

I'm with ya. I was not a fan at the time of the hiring to be honest. With his history of leaving teams when the going gets rough and usually leaving the teams in a semi-rebuilding stage coupled with his age, tendancies and knack for bad mouthing the owners he worked for I only saw trouble in the future.

I'll give him credit, he had me fooled that first year.
