This thread is not about how I hate JG's play calling. Though, that is obviously what inspired it. The first play of the game against the Bucs, Jason Garrett call's a play-action, fake reverse. I didn't like it, but, at the same time, I don't think it was the worse possible play for that situation. I really don't like plays that take that much time to develop, considering our OL's inability to sustain blocks.

Honestly, I think the perfect play for that situation would have been a playaction screen, towards the weakside.

What 1st play would you call to start the game?

Wildcat. Dez runs a reverse takes it and throws the ball down the field.

You realize who our head coach is, right?

Peppers beats free and hits Murray three yards in the backfield.

It'll be a hand-off to Murray because Garrett sucks as an OC.

play action deep ball to Dez

this is what I want. even if he is covered - throw him the ball!!!!! he can go get it or draw PI. Even if these don't happen, we are giving them something to think about. I really don't understand why we NEVER just bomb it to him deep.

If Nicks can do it, Dez can pefect it.

Well it definitely wouldn't be a fake reverse screen, that's for sure.

An overload to Ware's side so they can put pressure on Cutler.

Oh, we're talking Bears game now? Then I'd say late helmet to helmet hit on Cutler. Yes, we get a 15-yarder, but the game is effectively over. Cutler can't take it and no one will convince me otherwise.

What it will be - hand-off to Murray right into the teeth of the line for no gain.

What it should be - fake hand-off, Romo rolls out to the right and targets Austin on a 25yd fade.
