12/1 games: Kind of eat up your Sunday limiting things you want to do before or after the game.
7:30/8:30 games: Win or lose I'm not falling asleep for atleast 2 hours after the night game so always leads to a tiring morning.

So that brings me to the 3/4pm games. It's late enough to do things most of the day, but not late enough to spill into dinner or late evening. This is my favorite time slot.

I'm EST so prefer Sunday afternoon. I get most of Sunday to do chores/errands/hang out with my family. Midday (1PM) is fine too but night games stink.

Since I don't live in the Dallas area the 1pm Sunday games are the worst because they are the least likely to be on "regular" tv. Monday night second worst because it's painful to wait for. Sunday night or Sunday late afternoon game are my choices

Looks like you have a cool job if you can watch a whole half at work. Why call off if you can watch the game and get paid.

That's when you go home in

I'm a toll collector at an exit that is not busy in the daytime. The midnight shift is dead. On many occasions I was paid more money for working the shift than I collected. If it was a business, it wouldn't have a midnight shift. :)

Simply put, when it's the Cowboys playing, I'd rather be eating and drinking. Then you have the occasional interruption. I could be getting 1 car every 20 minutes, and that one butt wipe will pull up right as the Cowboys are about the snap the ball on 4th and 1.

But for all other games I don't care.

I am retired now , but hated the mnf when working, especially when the game started at 9pm, games would not end till midnight.
Rough getting up early Tuesday morning!

Before we had live regular season games from around the mid 90’s, the only way we could get any live NFL in the UK was from the US armed forces radio broadcast that was supposed to be for their troops in Germany.
It was on the medium wave and the broadcast quality was varying between just ok to awful lol… we’d get an Italian opera singer in the background or the French news.
Yet thousands and not just myself tuned in for MNF, which kicked off around 02.10am and would finish around 05.30… you can imagine what work was like on Tuesday mornings after a Dallas game lol

Someone mentioned in the Colts vs Cowboys thread they wish our game could move up and I agree, I hate Sunday night games. I didn't even like having to wait for the new Sopranos or Game of Thrones on HBO Sunday Night, and no different with my team.

Games are all over the place now.
- Early Sunday
- Mid Sunday
- Late Sunday
- MNF
- Thanksgiving, Xmas
- Thursday Night
- We've had Friday Night games
- Europe, VERY early Sunday

My personal preference are the early Sunday games and I enjoyed living on the West Coast and basically waking up to the pre-game shows and the games. I like early Sunday games when I live on the East Coast because I can do my outside chores, and then retire to the football.
12pm sunday all 17 lets do it lol

I agree. Early Sunday is the best. I am ok with the 4pm game too. I despise Th games. Sunday and Monday night are also terrible. Nothing worse than going to bed at midnight pissed off on a work night.

Playoff time I love the Saturday Sunday format. I live in NY (which sucks on many levels) and love a Saturday night game. Saturday night college football is a favorite of mine. Great post.

I like the mid day like about 4pm, also the SNF. MNF is OK too.

Early Sunday games. Hands down. Followed by late afternoon games. All the other times suck.
Yeah man sucks wasting an entire Sunday waiting around. The best would be ignore the game until it’s over and watch the replay of just play time which i think is like 13 minutes or something.
