Mine was in 1968. I was 5 years old and the Cowboys were playing the Saints. I saw it on TV at my aunt and uncles house in Louisiana.

I saw the stars on the helmet and I was hooked. I remember Don Meredith throwing two TDs. One to Bob Hayes and I think the 2nd may have been to him as well. I also remember that the Saints QB was getting hammered and kept throwing picks. I don't remember how many but it was a lot because my Uncle kept screaming that he wanted to kill that SOB (whoever the saint QB was).

From that moment, I was a die hard Cowboys fan. Thanks to Bullet Bob Hayes and Don Meredith.

What was your first memory?

As painful as it is, the "Catch" game was the first one I remember. I was six year old and was rooting for the guys "with the stars". The rest is history

Can't remember. Dang that is bad. Actually it was the offseason. Bob Hayes was going to be a Cowboy.

something called the "Playoff Bowl" after the 1965 season, i think. it was the year the cowboys went 7-7 and finished second in the division. they didn't qualify for the playoffs, but did qualify for the runner-up game against the colts. johnny unitas absolutely killed us.

I don't know the year for certain but it was Thanksgiving. When I saw the star, the line shift, and the cheerleaders I was hooked. :D

"The Ice Bowl" with Green Bay on a black and white TV.

Watching the Cowboys take the lead, only to lose the game at the end when the Packers scored over Jethro Pugh was devistating.

Some people here are really dating themselves. OLDTIMERS! LOL

Mine was the 1985 lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the divisonal playoff's.

I watched it from my Aunts house and remember it being the first time I got really angry at the Cowboys and realized I was hooked.

It is still also my favorite year for football cards. I still love the way Topps looks from that year.

Hail Mary, Staubach to Pearson. I was a Cowboy fan before that because my Dad is a Packer fan but that game hooked me.

My first Cowboys memory was the entire family watching the Cowboys vs St Louis Cardinals on Thanksgiving 1976 at my great aunt's house. I guess I was about three years old at the time. :)
