The Philthy fans are getting a little cocky and overconfident. That doesn’t bode well for them.
Eagles have a tough schedule for sure. New season but I like their chances. Then again as a fan I think every year is the year.

The determining factor is the same as it has been since Dak arrived:
It's not about how good the Cowboys are. It's always about how weak the competition is.
If the Cowboys luck into playing a weak schedule because other teams falters, they ra k up some easy wins.
But if their opponents are doing well overall and playing to win, the season can be very long.

Every season the NFL surprises us with projected contenders disappointing and former bottom dwellers succeeding.

Many games are decided by a bounce of the ball. Some teams get lucky and other don't. Look at the Bengals/Cowboys game last season.

I can't think of any team that is more due for some lucky bounces. The same also goes for a reasonable number of injureis that excludes critical players like Dak, or CD or Micah

I see the Cowboys starting out 4-4 due mostly to coaching changes, rookie and 2nd year starters, and missing players still recovering from injury.

I see them hitting a point where the team begins to come together, the injured returns, and the rookies become more comfortable. I see an emerging power offensive line in the 2nd half of this season.

I see the Cowboys going on a very unexpected run in the last 9 games, winning 6.

Ther Cowboys will have a 10-7 season despite being stronger in December than McCarthy's three 12-5 teams.

In addition, the Eagles will struggle and Washington will come back down to Earth. With only a few games remaining it wouldn't surprise me if there was a three way tie.

The Cowboys will ruin Christmas day in D.C. for Washington fans. They will win the division and even reach the NFC championship game.

Little early for this, but at this point I will say, 7 wins. However, I do reserve the right to change it before game one.

Being super optimistic ...... I say 8 wins.
I went 8 and feel that that is probably too generous.

No reason to think we'll have a run game or the ability to stop the run. New unjustified HC. Dak a year older, more injuries.

Let's see, 4-4, OK. Schedule after that:

ARI
LV
Philly
KC
DET
MINNY
LAC
WASH
NYG

6-3 out of that, man that's going to be tough. Since we can only lose 3 of them, that means we beat everyone else. Let's say we lose to KC, DET, and Philly.

You really think we can sweep the rest?

Agreed. I see 3-3 to start and then losses start piling up. By week 9 people will be calling for Schnotty's head.
