The List of top 100 players of 2011 will soon becoming out. I could have included defensive players but just thinking about the top offensive players in the league, is hard enough. And if you can, Please dont make your top 10 all quarter backs. Heres mine.

  1. Aaron Rodgers QB - The dude was simply the best in 2011.
  2. Drew Breas QB - Broke Marinos passing record and had another fantastic year.
  3. Calvin Johnson WR - He was absolutley a freak at the wide reciever position this year.
  4. Rob Grontkowski TE - Caught every thing thrown at him and broke the TE touchdown record.
  5. Tom Brady QB - Say its his o-line or his great receivers, either way, Brady is consitent Mofo when it comes to playing QB at an elite level.
  6. Arian Foster RB - Led the league in his first year in Rushing yards, had another outstanding year in 2011; in my opinion the best RB in football.
  7. Matt Forte RB - accounted for more than 40% of the bears offense last season. Enough said.
  8. Victor Cruz WR - Say what you want about him, being a giant and all, but the guy was clutch and made one hell of an impact in 2011.
  9. Tony Romo QB - May be a little biased, but the most underrated qb in the league, and had his best season as a qb in 2011.
  10. Eli Manning QB - Might get crap for this also, but the dude did win a superbowl, and was pretty clutch in doing so. Does help that his Team is alot better than Tony's.

LeSean McCoy and Cam Newton had outstanding years. I'd put them in your list ahead of some of the guys in the bottom half.

1A: Aaron Rodgers
1B: Drew Brees
3: Calvin Johnson
4: Andre Johnson
5: Tom Brady
6: Adrian Peterson
7: LeSean McCoy
8: Larry Fitzgerald (He is this low because the guy throwing him the ball will be a limiting factor)
9: Jamaal Charles
10: Joe Thomas (I have to include the best offensive lineman in football on this list)

Only thing i disagree with on your list is Andre johnson. He was hurt for much of the season.

1) Rodgers
2) Brees
3) Megatron
4) Brady
5) Joe Thomas
6) LeSean McCoy
7) Gronkowski
8) Matt Forte
9) Jimmie Graham
10) Fitzgerald

Peyton and Peterson would be on the list, but for injury. Andre Johnson and Eli are very close.

Sorry, I thought we were ranking them going into NEXT season. Jamaal Charles shouldnt be there either for last year b/c he missed 15 games.

I think McCoy is severely underrated at times.

He is a hell of a player.

20 total TDs and 4.8 ypc last year.

He is a damn good back.

He is nasty with jump cuts. However, he is helped alot by getting carries in the shotgun with Vick as the QB. The comparatively lead footed Tebow, somehow got Willis McGahee's corpse 1,200 yards last year.

I don't see how this guy is not on everyone's list. I hate him. Hate him so much. But he was freaking lights out in the playoffs (and in the final game of the season that got them there).

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Rob Gronkowski
3. Calvin Johnson
4. Jordy Nelson
5. Drew Brees
6. Larry Fitzgerald
7. Ray Rice
8. Tom Brady
9. Jason Peters
10. Jimmy Graham

He'd be in my top 10. I don't think a current Cowboy would.

I'm going to pretend I didn't see Jordy Nelson on that list.

please rewatch the SF game.

I know he's our rival but you have to include Eli Manning in the top 5.

Yeah, I suppose we should have just picked the people with the highest Madden ratings or something. Maybe just picked the players with the most Pro Bowl votes? Guys with the best selling jerseys?

Anyway, I don't have a beef with anyone disagreeing - 2009 had some spectacular individual performances - but if you're surprised at seeing Jordy Nelson on a top 10 list from 2011, you just weren't watching football in 2011.

2nd most touchdowns in the NFL, highest yards per target, 7th highest yardage, only 2 drops, incredible rapport with Rodgers. This guy had a Miles Austin coming out season (and his game is VERY similar to Austin's).

But I'll let you get back to lobbing sarcastic criticisms without actually putting your own view out there. ;)
