I really do hope Parcells will be coaching the Boys next year and I hope he extends the contract 2 more years. He has this team very close to bein a Super Bowl contender. I think he is the man that would be best for finishing off what needs to be done.

As much as I would like BP to stay and extend. Jerry Jones needs to meet Parcells tomorow and tell him he has 24 hours to decide if he is gonna coach this team or not. How it is not right to leave him and the team clueless to what he is gonna do. Let him know if he still has not decided in 24 hours he will be replaced.

The way I look at it is BP knows if he really wants to still coach here. Nuff of these games. Like my grandfather sez...either take a s*** or get off the pot.

I think a lot of people are in denial about this.

If Parcells wanted to coach the Cowboys there would be no mystery about this.

He made emphatic statements about his committment in the previous two seasons, its obvious.

Most of you are thinking with your hearts, not logically.

:laugh1: Nice... I would also give him a deadline, he doesn't run anything around here, JJ is the boss.

I would have a coach/plan in place already. I would like to restructure for just 1 more year with a 2 year option... But if he's moping around the compound and leaving hints of leaving and wanting to retire, I'd get him in my office right away..

Let him tell me one way or another - and if he can't do that, I'd first ask him if he'd wanted to move to another team where we could make a trade and get a great draft pick, or I'd force him to stay on for another year or retire. If he retires, teams will not want to gamble on him anymore, or if JJ keeps him there, and he doesn't try his hardest, again teams won't look his way.

Their's smoke, their's fire.. I hope not, because I think we're an offseason away too.

But Jerry likes to make the big splashes, Jimmy Johnson has seen that Jerry Jones has grown up and can put the football operations in the hands of someone responsible, and I think that turns Jimmy Johnson on. If Jerry allowed BP to do whatever he wanted personell wise without any issues, he would certainly let Jimmy Johnson darn near do what he wanted..

I'm sorry. I don't buy this "Jerry doesn't know what bill is going to do" or "Jerry is left in the dark" of "Jerry will be caught with his pants down with no backup plan" stuff. Do you guys really believe that Jerry is just sitting in his chair not knowing what is going on with Bill? Do you think Jerry hasn't even talked to Bill about all the stuff that is going on?

All we know right now is what the media knows and is telling us which is absolutely nothing. I'm almost positive Jerry knows what Bills ideas and plans are and he is working around those plans. Just because he hasn't told the media what they have been talking about doens't mean he doesn't know what is going on.

You guys really are going overboard with this stuff. What ever happens, Jerry is not being left in the dark. Seriously... come on guys.

Someone posted here or over at DC Central, that when BP goes, Jones is going to offer the job to Mike Holmgren, because he and Jerry are the best of friends. Quite frankly, I was suprised to hear that, but I guess it's as accurate as any other posts on this blog...

Then BP maybe gets what he wants....4.5 million dollars for being fired, and the freedom on top of that to go anywhere he wants.

I hope he's not doing so, but BP has JJ by the short hairs if he wants and can indeed hold him and the organization hostage for as long as he wants.

Bill Parcells act in this manner? It's not possible.

Just as the Giants...the Pats....The Jets...The Falcons...the Bucs...
