I'd say yes. That's a big money addition we haven't seen here for a decade.

I’m expecting pretty much the same approach. With CeeDee, Parsons and Diggs contracts coming up in the future, the Cowboys will likely handle free agency the same way by going after mid and low tier free agents. It’s going to be difficult keeping all three of those players, so the Cowboys will be conservative. Ending up with a 12-5 record and a playoff win the Joneses aren’t going to feel the need to be overly aggressive.

I’m pretty torn. On the one hand, this FO has been consistent in their strategy of cheap free agents to attempt to fill holes, resigning our own guys and really only looking to improve through the draft.


On the other hand we clearly identified we have a need for another receiver/weapon and I think there’s a solid chance we go after Dhop or someone else using a solid bit of draft and/or cap capital. If I had to bet though I’d say we’re more likely to stay conservative with mid tier signings at best and we’re “in on” the big free agents but come up way short compared to other offers.

Much more closer to more of the same. Maybe they trade for a wide receiver which they’ll tell you is them going for it all but Stephen will pound into our heads how well they’ve drafted and how they wanna keep our own as “that’s a part of free agency now too”.

I expect they've learned some lessons this year, and will at least draft a QB in this draft.

I'd like to see them draft someone like Jaren Hall, which I've said before. To me, he just fits well into the culture Dallas is building, and he has a better arm than Dak, and he can run like Hurts.

It'd be a win-win for them, and our future.

I think it’s more likely you see an NFL version of “quiet quitting” with the Joneses acquiescence to Eagles dominance for the next couple year in an attempt to get in better cap shape and make another run around the time the Eagles are resigning Hurts.
