What kind of start do you expect tonight?

My fear here is a replay of the Rams game where we start slow. The issue here is that the Bucs are a much better team than that Rams team. You start slow tonight and you'll be behind 14-0 before you know it.

This is another reason why I did not agree with how McCarthy handled preseason. They ham and egged it all camp and in games where there was no real continuity, etc. Now having Prescott hurt hampered them but if he was healthy by that last preseason game, throwing him and the starters out there for a series or two would have made sense to me.

It's almost like they view this as a house money game. No one expects us to win anyway and at the end of the day a loss doesn't sink our season, so they kind of view this as their real warm up game and if they win, great, if they don't at least they have a game under their belt before they hit a part of the schedule where they can win some games.

I'm probably Charlie trying to kick the football Lucy's holding again, but I actually expect to come out and be aggressive on both sides.

Cowboys start slow? That's a lock even if Dak was a full participant all TC. No Martin, Cooper getting back in shape. Lael banged up. First team O no snaps together in preseason. Defense is new with lots of new faces. UM yeah. Slow start is a given. Hope its not over before it gets started. And TB hanging the champ banner at home? yuk. I don't think the 85 Bears would win this one. Sorry it is what it is.

37-24 Bucs.

Adrenaline, testosterone, once the game starts you can forget about all the rust Comments. These a professional athletes I expect nothing but the best that they have to give. And that’s a whole different conversation. I’m hoping the team with the ball last wins. That’s how football should be played won in the fourth quarter in my opinion.

The Cowboys?

Stupid mistakes, penalties, false starts, drops, or whatever else you can think of.

I think it will probably start with a guy in the middle of a line of other guys kicking a ball as far as he can, but that's just a guess.

That’s what kills us in the past. Or any team that does that. I’m hoping Coaching solve that issue. Discipline

I have high expectations for the offense and much lower expectations for the defense. I won’t be shocked if we give up 30 or more points vs arguably the deepest offense in the league but I’ll be pissed if we can’t muster 24 points ourselves. Our offense is also supposed to be great and given all the attention and investments, they had BETTER be. Martin is a loss, but everyone else is ready to go.

No excuses.

I’m expecting 24, 27 Tampa

Sloppy start to the game, the first team offense, as it is comprised now, hasn't played a real game in a year.

I expect at least the Q1 to be more of a preseason extension for the Cowboys and probably the defense to be better than the offense. A throwback to back in the day when all teams started that way because getting the rhythm and timing of the offense down took some real time against real opponents.

If the first play of the game is a roll out to the running back. I’ll know we’re in trouble
