What kinda mood ya think Rob Ryan And Red are in this week?

Yeah, I agree they are two miserable SOB's to be around this week. Ryan was beside himself the other night and it won't go away until his defense kicks the crap out of somebody: namely the Niners.

As for Red, I think he picked up plenty of pointers from Jimmy Johnson on how to handle a team after a loss like that. No one but Dware should be comfy this week, as there is no excuse to outplay a team by that wide a margin and lose.

Although they goofed up in crucial moments in the game, I am still very proud of the intensity and competitiveness this team showed. I don't think we would have seen that prior to this year.

Hopefully, Rob and Jason remind them that they went toe to toe against a so-called giant. They were put on a national stage for rating purposes, with lots of people tuning in to watch the hated America's Team get trounced, embarrasse, humiliated and trounced by the 'Real America's Team' on a very special night for the city of New York and the nation, with youngsters protecting the most important person on their team. With starters in the secondary being out left and right. They punched the giant in the mouth.

They fought their tales off. That makes me very excited about this team moving forward. Still, we have a lot of work to do and some things the absolutely have to clear up.

Although I am huge Garrett fan, I know some people will not give him any credit for his game plan and having this team ready to play. THAT tells me a lot about his leadership abilities. The team is sold on his philosophy.

WHY would they be tough on the players? We lost to a good team we outplayed. A couple of mistakes via Romo. Big moldy deal.


I bet their elated at the way this group performed and executed their gameplans. They aren't out there hugging players. However, they're going to work and improving per normal, IMO.


Rob may pass a mirror and inadvertantly see Rex, punch himself in the face and tell him to F.O. but that's about it.

Good catch jimnabby... This is the coach I would presume is in a horribly lousy mood this week!! Joe D probably didn't sleep very well Sunday night.

I don't think either of their attitudes has changed one bit. It would be silly if they did, they are coaches not fans. They can't, after one game, start switching things around like they had no plan from the start.

Special Teams, however, will probably get an ear full.

I guarantee they were pleased with their performance Sunday. Not happy about losing, but pleased by what they saw.

They now know that what they have been doing is working, .. they are taking this thing in the right direction.

Do some things need work?, .. yep.

Do they need to improve in many areas?, .. yep.

But from a coaches perspective, they had to be encouraged by what they saw all in all.

I'm real curious to see how that translates to what we do to the 9ers on Sunday. Real curious.

I think Joe D should be fired. That type of stuff is inexcusable. Fumbles and interceptions happen on occasion. But to allow a guy a clean line to the punter like that is incomprehensible. Your punter is out there like five times during a game, you can't come up with a competent blocking scheme for five freakin' plays?

I'd be tough on myself first if I'm Garrett. 3 Delay of games, 1 12 men in the huddle, a couple of false starts, these are penalties before the ball is even snapped.

Play clock problems, short yardage issues, and several untimely calls during the game.

Garrett I do trust, and he seems like a proud guy. And because of this, he will clean up all of what I just described and we will come out and absolutely MURDER the 49ers.
