Sign Tank long term to mega deal

Or

Trading for draft picks and using money saved to sign Earl and Suh (and I can't stand the guy)? Both would be shorter term deals.

Apparently, paying a lot more for the same guys who came up short last year is the primary road to a championship. After all, we're "close" don't you know? All that's missing is giving a few big contracts to veterans we've heard of and whose best days are behind them, because the coach 98% of the people here say "sucks" is going to lead that combination to a title with a "middling" QB. :muttley:

Well, Jerry says he's more determined than ever to win a SB and Stephen says he won't hold back this year. H-m-m -- one can't help but wonder when both of these vows are going to materialize. So far, it's starting out like more of the same . . . waiting here patiently for that magical surprise!

What would instantly make this team better. Big ugly defensive tackle. If we can't push the center back into the quarterback's face are Edge rushers will never get there.

The Rams ran right through the defensive line. This offense can score points with anyone. If we don't get the big ugly defensive tackle that we needed for the last 3 Seasons nothing is going to change

I don't think we should sign Dlaw.. he ran out of gas big time last year. Either way our defense is probably going to take a step back. We were healthy last year. Can't assume the same every year.

They have got to get a spark from somewhere.

It has to be Kellen Moore or a big time free agent.

Relying on the same coach and roster is just stupid.

Superstars like Ezekiel Elliot and Coaches like Sean McVay are what spark franchises.

Not routine offseasons and rookies.

depends. If ET plays at his pre-injury level then him and suh are better than dlaw by himself. how likely is that to happen though? Will dlaw finally play 16 games healthy or will his shoulder or back issues resurface? Will dlaw miss any games due to injury or from surgery since he is holding out so long?

where was Tank during the Rams game? Just sayin, if he wants a mega deal, lets look at the facts and analyze if he's worthy. Studs are suppose to rise above and show out in the biggest moments, not be invisible and shrink. I SAW "SHRINKAGE."

Sign Tank. Why have Earl with no pass rush? I would rather have a pass rush and no Earl.

Tank is the war daddy that Jerry has sought since they cut Ware after the '13 season.

He followed up a 14.5-sack season in '17 with a 10.5-sack season in '18. If you’re judging success only on sacks, you would think Tank took a step back in '18 by saying he ran out of gas, he did not.

He affected the passer. He played the run. He was everything the Boys needed. And you don't want to sign him?! o_O

You're asking what makes us better or what makes sense. Signing Tank to a fair contract makes us better and makes more sense than a $15 million S. I hate Suh as a player. Truly we have no clue what a mega deal is in either Lawrence or ET eyes. We do know speculation.

Sounds like a cheap *** soap opera doesn't it lol

Suh won't show until playoffs.
