What makes this loss suck even more

People have been saying that for 4 years now. Chargers are just bad. McDaniels and Harbaugh have done more with less. They just be organically bad just like Dallas. From the top down.
Haven’t both their starting tackles and starting guard or two had like season ending injuries several times in the past few seasons? Not saying they don’t have other problems-but their current woes would not seem the same if they were healthy. I don’t follow them that closely.

Jeremiah Smith is projected to be the first pick. Why would they trade out of that?
Answer: If some team wants the top QB and needs to move up, they might offer 4 first round picks plus others. Those are the trades that completely change an organization. One elite player does not trump 6-7 really good players. Unless it’s the QB.

Just go back and look at when the Cowboys were good. Tom Landry, Jimmy Johnson, Bill Parcells, and a little bit of Fat Mike. But fat Mike was limited by the new build through the draft limitations. The others weren't. Get a coaching staff in here with skins on the wall that can operate without ownership interference and we might have a shot.

Hurt or not....0-5 would indicate there's a bigger issue.

It was absolutely asinine that Jerry offered or let the Jets talk him into giving the higher of the 2 picks.

Knowing Jerry, though, he put that out there on a silver platter and they jumped on it.

Mike McDaniel was supposed to unlock that offense and take it to the next level. I know they have oline problems, but wow have they underperformed with their talent.
Herbert was never that good. Overachieved his first couple years. He's terrible.

Nobody is offering it for any of these guys they all look like mediocre prospects. Especially Arch. Jeremiah Smith looks generational. You don't trade from that.

What's incredible was that Jerry was negotiating with a 39 year old GM that had been in the job 9 months. How can you agree to the higher of the 2 picks?

Who actually thought we'd win this game? What have the Cowboys done to expect a win on the road against the Packers? Hire a defensive consultant? After last night, might want to hire an offensive consultant too.

This is an awful run organization from the GM down to the coaching staff. The Cardinals beat the Rams this week. Held the Rams to 16 points. We'll lose by 50 when we play them. Are the Cards such a talented team? Coaching matters. Leadership matters. Playing with intensity matters. Our DT calling a players only meeting tells you all we need to know.
That's the difference between us and other franchises. I actually believe that players on other teams hate to lose and put forth the effort. This team is all about the optics - team meetings; Dak leading the pep talk on the field last night. It's all lip service. The moment the whistle blows, players go through the motions. But's it all good - because win or lose they are cashing that paycheck.

Is knowing that the loss actually hurt our draft order.

The Jets own the rights to the better of the two picks.

As the gap widens between our record and Green Bay, so does our 1st round draft pick.

I've gotta be honest, I'm pretty mad right now.

Dallas could very well win the dilapidated NFC East.
It's embarrassing

The Jets would currently draft 6th with our pick.

The Cowboys would currently draft 27th with GB's pick.

That's some damn fine GMing right there, fellas. Who else could arrange 31 years of being a joke in the playoffs, breaking his own record for being the oldest GM ever, and arranging it so that we can't even benefit from a **** season to get a top 10 pick. The Jets completely fleeced the old fool. The Jets.
Hey now, don't forget that difference maker we got with that pick in Quinnen Williams! Surely theres no player that we could draft with the 6th pick that would be better.
